@iamsachin, how's the new version dealing with random reboots? Have you encountered any since intervigilium made some new commits?

Random reboots are lesser than before now. I can assure on that. I have made some custom changes in the kernel with bits from AndreiLux kernel as well :)

tried this yesterday. still had random reboots. hopefully the next version will eliminate the random reboots because that's the only thing keeping me away from using this as a dally driver. good work and thanks to you big time :)

LOL.. actually there is a workaround for SystemUI bug as well. Turn off the halo, wait for 1 or 2 notification to occur and then turn it back on. It wont crash after that. Let me upload the latest build for you guys.

My test was inconclusive. It's crashing on StaticLayout. I still have to find which function is calling that buggy parameters on getLayout();

Alpha Preview 1.1:
1) Fixed Theme Manager
2) Merged Latest intervigil commits (audio problems solved to an extent, better RIL functioning)
3) Merged Latest HALO commits (better memory management, design changes, no more italics font)
4) Added latest gapps link.
5) Cleaned up a lot of code

Check OP for link

Note: SystemUI crash is still there. To overcome that, turn off halo, wait for any notification, turn it back on. I am looking into the issue, it will be fixed soon.

thanks for the build downloading now...by the way how to solve external sd card bug? i have 64gb card and if i try to change cm file manager to root access i cant see the internal and external sd.how to see my files on the card and use them? i cant use as a daily driver because i need my external sd working...

Once I solve the HALO related bugs I will look into the main CM bugs. Intervigil might solve it before that I believe :)

    Welcome to HaloGen for i9500.
    This ROM is a neat and clean CM10.2 with HALO feature from the ParanoidAndroid.

    First I would like to thank the people who made this possible:
    1) @intervigil and CM team for porting CM10.2 on i9500. Nothing was fated for this device without them.
    2) ParanoidAndroid for making the fantastic HALO feature, proving once again that Android has been always about innovation of exciting user friendly features.
    3) @Grarak and @doga.ozkaraca for constantly clearing my doubts whenever I had regarding anything.
    4) @AndreiLux for his unbeatable Perseus kernel.
    5) Samsung, who knows how to make good devices, but being dumbasses for not releasing sources.

    This was basically a personal project for me to learn Android OS development. I was fascinated about the HALO feature and so I began implementing it over the always faithful base of CM.

    Paranoid Android is about to release the new HALO for KitKat. So this ROM will be updated after that for CM11 base.
    Meanwhile I am experimenting with the audio stuff.
