This thread is here to provide support for RCTeam's newest creations.

My goal is to keep the development thread clean from non-development related posts and get people to post their questions, bug reports and issues etc here instead. There has been some disturbances in the dev thread and I hope this will help the devs to calm their nerves and be more positive about developing the magnificent ROM.

So please, if you want to share some of the things that I've underlined above, you are unsure about something or you just have something on your heart regarding the rom, feel free to post here. I will try to see that every question gets answered and I hope other members will help me with this quest. Don't be afraid to post something that might have been posted earlier, we'll try not be so harsh as in the dev thread, but remember the Rules of XDA say to search before posting! Let's try to keep this thread civil!

I will keep the first posts updated to summarize everything useful found in this thread so that if the devs want to check this thread they don't have to crawl through every post.

Issues recognized by the devs.

● Video rotating, fix coming.

The easiest way to do a succesful full wipe and flash:

- Boot into CWM recovery
- Do "wipe data/factory reset"
(This wipes /data, /cache and dalvik-cache)
- Go to "mounts and storage"
- Choose "format /system"
- Go to "install zip from sdcard"
- choose zip from sdcard and flash away.

If this doesn't work then do the above again but before flashing, go to "mounts and storage" and choose "mount data" and "mount system" and then go back and flash.

Auto-Install tutorial for dummies:

Option 1.
- If you are coming from ANY other ROM, do this before flashing RCMix with autoinstall script.
- Create a folder named RCTeam on the root of sd card, in that folder, create a subfolder named app.user.
- Use file explorer which allows you to go to data folder in your PHONE memory. You need to go to /data/app folder, then select all apps, copy and paste them to your newly created RCTeam/app.user folder on sd card root. I used Root Explorer, not sure if other file explorers will have same functionality.
- Flash ROM, sit back and enjoy autoinstall

Option 2.
- If you already flashed the RCMix rom do this to make your apps autoinstall on next wipe:
- Install all your apps
- Skip step 1. and use steps 2. and 3. from Option 1.

User reports Unconfirmed issues reported by more than one user.

● Internet passthrough -> Update HTC Sync for your computer
● AGPS patch
● GPS fix

If you find something that needs resizing (and haven't been mentioned earlier) take a screenshot by holding the power button and tapping the home button and post it here after downsizing the screenshot a bit. (Don't hold the power button too long though

)

I start with something constructive rightaway
I think the screens rotate on a bigger radius than they should, because the res is smaller than Kingdom screen
and this way we can't enjoy the beauty of the 3D widgets
but it's really like a last piece when the ROM is fully working

I'm running Kingdom plus MDJ's v12 kernel and I must admit : battery life with this ROM is fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!

issue in the contact widget ?

Hi,

I think I have found an issue, but not really sure, I also take time to search in the dev Thread a report of this issue but don't find it.

So here is the problem :

-In the contact widget there could be a notification near a contact (a number in a green disc). I always have this number, and in the contact I do not have any notification nor facebook, nor sms, nor email...
When I look the contact the green disc goes and come back almost instantly.

I have attach a screenshot to be sure everyone understand wich notification I was talking about.

itz to bad we can't move the questions and comments from the development forum to this one, so that we can clean it up a little bit.....i took me a hour to read up to page 30, only 700+ pages to go...thats kinda stupid to have to do because no one can read or use the search function properly....not bashin on anyone just wish the dev forum was cleaner so that we can contrbute, and right now we can't because everything is a mess and i don't wanna post a question that has already been posted or a answer that has already been posted......

I havent been able to reproduce this bug. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've never had this problem, but if I do have an weird issue with a ROM I do a full wipe/reflash. Maybe you can try that and see if it comes back.

Can I make a suggestion.....

When the next release of the Kingdom rom arrives could it be started in a new thread due to all the junk currently in the existing thread.... would make things a lot easier.

This thread is an excellent idea.... just hope that people will post here rather than rom thread.
