I've a noobish quesion. For flashing a firmware using flashtool, I usually flash kernel.sin alone and all boxes in 'Exclude' unchecked.
How to do flash baseband? Does kernel.sin include baseband as well or do I need to do something additional or different?

6) Let the rom settle a little bit if everything on your sdcard is not read.

Can you clarify this step.Do you want us to wait until the sdcard contents are read?

cheers!

kernel is one thing baseband is another...

in flashtool firmware selection window

2 get kernel only flash:
make so firmware content only shows kernel.sin and loader.sin
(dont forget to turn off data wipe)

[_] wipe data
[_] wipe cache
[_] wipe apps log

[X] exclude system
[_] exclude kernel
[X] exclude baseband
[X] exclude fota
[X] exclude partition
[X] exclude ta

[X] no final verification

2 get baseband only flash:
make so firmware content only shows amss_*.sin and loader.sin

[_] wipe data
[_] wipe cache
[_] wipe apps log

[X] exclude system
[X] exclude kernel
[_] exclude baseband
[X] exclude fota
[X] exclude partition
[X] exclude ta

[X] no final verification

DO THIS IN ONE STEP IN THIS CASE
leave exclude kernel and exclude baseband unselected

yes wait 4 sdcard partition contents 2 be loaded

cheers
