V2.0 one of the best ROM !!!

V2.0 is one of the best rom out there for JB...but unfortunately this thread has no pickers and is very quite.

Good job dev. keep up the good work!!!

I request you to work further on this rom and provide us with new updates.

The best JB ROM for HD2 LEO.

WiFi is working fine with version 2.0. Has it a problem with V3.0?

he is talking about v2.0 that was JB 4.1.2. JB 4.2.2 started from v3.0.

No wifi is not working on v3.0

Flash NexusHD2 first and after that directly flash this patch:DOWNLOAD
For nativesd user who wants to keep both nexushd2 as well as this AvatarROM, Just backup your NexusHD2, flash this patch and restore your nexusHD2 later.
Please report if this is working as I dont have my HD2 any more I need your help.

your patch rename the nativeSD folder for flashholics with 10 rom´s LOL

Installed in nand in t mobile.
Flash nexusHD2 and without reboot patch.
Reboot and rom installed, but "avatar rom has detected a crash": AOSP keyboard KO.
Installed and selected smart keyboard, reboot and avatar rom crash advice too.

Installed NexusHD2 original latingoogle.apk (14M) with root explorer and deleted latin.apk (29M), permissions, reboot, and now NO CRASH, smart keyboard is OK.

Camera is 4.2 and photos are ok, but camera no.

OK I flashed the patch on a fresh NativeSD install of NexusHD2 and it hangs on htc screen.
All i can get from logcat is "exec '/system/bin/sh' failed:No such file or directory".
Have attached dmesg.
I just thought that in future, instead of flashing the patch over an existing version of NexusHD2 2.2, it might be an idea for users to unzip the 2.2 rom.zip, merge and overwrite the patched files, then re-zip the ROM and flash. This would mean that a different rom-name could be used (in init.rc and rom_name.prop), and any existing version of nexusHD2 JB could co-exist. i know it is easier for users just to do 2 flashes, but it might be worth considering (for us NativeSD flashaholics;))

Edit; I just re-flashed 2.2, and it goes straight to setup. Therefore i think the /data folder on sd-ext is wiped in the patch, since i had already setup in the previous fresh install.

Can you just change the the Rom name in kernel/ROM_NAME.prop.
I Forgot to change it :p
Replace the name with AvatarROM

yesterday i have see you have forgot the name in the name.prop
i have change the name and make now a install. feadback in 30 minutes

No No..
This patch will only work on NexusHD2
Flash nexus HD2 and then flash this patch

    • Install ClockworkMod Recovery.
