Greetings! I installed this ROM yesterday and have had some problems, do not know if I did something wrong or can help me

1. - On occasions has locked the ROM (but most of times is very fluid)
2. - In 2 times has been in sleep mode, with no action and restarted, in the night doing nothing, in the morning appeared restarted
3. - I have swap (per partition) of 480 Mb (not sure if this influence), also used link2SD to link applications to SD
4. - After installing the ROM I wipe dalvick cache and wipe battery stats (not sure if this influence)

I hope pudding help me thanks!

Goto settings-about phone-status and see if your phone-number is listed. Since I got a new SIM-card from my provider, that status is 'unknown' in my phone and since that time the validate-script in the installer doesn't recognise my phone anymore. I have to comment out the validate-section in the updater-script in the ROM to get it to install properly.

Had the same problem with 3.0.5.
Just unzip the ZIP-File, go to MiniCM9-3.0.5-robyn\META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script and comment (#) the first 3 lines.
Rezip the files an you are ready to go.

Regards

As expected, the new universal kernel doesn't play well with the latest MiniCM9 nightly, Wi-Fi doesn't work for starters.

I suggest the people who prefer the ICS ROM to the JB one to stick with the regular ICS kernel, at least until nAa updates MiniCM9

    Visit Project's page @ google code

    MiniCM9 is an unofficial port of CyanogenMod 9 for the SEMC msm7x27 devices. MiniCM9 is running Android ICS on top of the nAa-ics kernel.

    Notes:
    • To cookers: If you want to use parts or all of this ROM for your custom cooks, read this first.
    • To everyone: Please don't mirror this ROM
    • MiniCM9 is built for the X8 / x10mini / x10minipro range. It is quite stable and the most feature-complete ICS ROM, perfect for day to day use

    Requirements:

    Instructions:
    • Download the MiniCM9-xxx.zip from the release link that follows
    • Backup your /data contents: contacts, apps, sms, etc. or backup via recovery
    • Move the MiniCM9-xxx.zip to the root folder of your sdcard. Download the suggested Google Apps for CM9 from here (check http://goo-inside.me/gapps/ if you want to experiment with other gapps versions)
    • Make sure you are using the nAa-ics kernel
    • Enter CWM and:
      - Select 'backup and restore -> Backup'
      - Select 'wipe data/factory reset' (MUST DO)
      - Flash the MiniCM9-xxx.zip. To do this, Select 'install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard' and select the MiniCM9-xxx.zip
      - Flash gapps in the same way

    MiniCM9 Visuals

    MiniCM9 Theme:

    MiniCM9 theme, is the valid successor for MiniCM6 and MiniCM7 legacy.
    It is designed as close as possible to the original specs of ICS, in order to be a lightweight, beautiful alternative to the stock theme. However it is tweaked in several parts of the UI, in order to fit better to our small device's screen.

    Screenshots:

    Changelog:

    Code:
    *3.0.2* 26-05-2012

    -Several UI elements are resized (in order to fit better with the small size of the screen)
    -themed most of the basic parts of framework
    -themed Trebuchet (also compatible with Apex/Nova Launcher)
    -themed Contacts/dialer
    -themed/redesigned status bar icons (Bigger and sharper, especially on the LDPI res)
    -themed Playstore (Small details in order to fit the theme)
    -themed Torch (also fixed on LDPI)
    -themed Apollo
    -themed Camera
    -themed launcher icons (lots to follow)

    Tips to make things faster

    * You want to overclock as much as you device can handle. ICS requires more juice to run.
    * Remove / Freeze system apps that you don't need, especially DSP Manager
    * Install only apps that you need, don't bloat your system
    * Consider using a swap partition / file if you got a fast sdcard. Swap will give more memory for the hungry ICS to consume
    * Using Zram (Compcache) and KSM is also suggested as they will give you a tad more RAM for your apps. Note that they might also reduce battery life since they require CPU cycles.
    * Trebuchet is beautiful but a bit on the laggy side yet. Consider installing another launcher from the market like Apex.

    Don't report bugs if you are using thirdparty tools that claim to be boosting the performance (Supercharger, RAM Manager, etc.)
    45
    Components

    ### Built from sources
    * libaudio
    * libgralloc
    * hwcomposer
    * libsensors
    * liblight
    * fm Radio
    * camerahal
    * libcamera
    * bluetooth

    ### Done
    * HW Video encoder/decoder

    Performance
    MiniCM9 along with the nAa-ics kernel, includes some interesting performance improvement points:
    • System -> Performance -> Processor -> CPU governor and frequency --> SmartassV2 is suggested. Overclocking can be set as higher as your device can take
    • System -> Performance -> Processor -> Undervolting --> Enable this to get better battery life
    • System -> Performance -> Memory management -> zRam (Compcache) --> By default this is set to 18% in order to provide more physical memory (RAM)
    • System -> Performance -> Kernel samepage merging -> Enable this to get smaller memory footprint due to memory sharing among apps (Note that this might increase battery consumption)
