There is no chance of sending a courier to the shop as these ppl are overloaded with work. They would not have time to repair it and send a courier back to you.
The place which is called Manish Market is full of repairing shops and its always better to be there personally. The shop I have mentioned is a good one.

I know this is an old topic, but the OP may not have been a full brick D: D: D:
If the G1 logo shows, there's still a chance to do it without JTAG

To user above: First find out if it's a full brick or not.
Post details about it.

Bonjour,

Suite à un FLASH raté, mon téléphone, G1 T-mobile, ne voulait plus redémarrer (impossible de le mettre en marche , plus aucun bouton ne fonctionnait = BRICK )
Je l'ai envoyé en réparation chez "ALLOPSM" et "CORDON Electronic", aucune de ces 2 entreprises FRANCAISES n'a su le réparer.
Je suis tombé par hasard sur le site "hXXp://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com". J'ai pris contact par email et ils m'ont répondu qu'il savait réparer ce genre de panne. En 2 semaine la réparation a été faite (France USA France + réparation)

I am really impressed by how quickly they managed to repair my old G1.
Following a failed flash, my phone did not want to restart (can not turn it on, no buttons worked = BRICK)
I sent in for repair "ALLOPSM" and "Electronic CORD", neither of these two FRENCH companies has not repair.
I stumbled upon the site "hXXp://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com".
I contacted by email and they told me he knew what kind of repair failure. In two weeks the repair was made (French to United States and return France + repair)

Pull battery and put back in each time.

Power + home
Power + camera
Power + back
Power + phone

PLEASE NOTE: I do not own this repair shop, would not be able to receive your phone and get it fixed as I no more live in Mumbai. I do not have a contact number for this store, the address has been posted which should help locate the store where I got my phone fixed long back.
