Clear Calender not showing in app list either. Clicking on the apk from zip or system folder shows package install error.

Well if it's an issue then the apk wouldn't be placed in system and permissions set. I took my script from gapps ages ago when they changed the update-binary....yes I've been at this since froyo...Lol

It's like the apk is not recognized by the system because I do not get the "Android is upgrading 1 of 1 app(s)" upon boot like a new/updated system app would normally trigger (did thIs happened to you if it worked btw.?).

Apk is in the folder with its icon but not in the app drawer or manager.

Don't see much more to give as info atm... sorry.

Although it never really pleasant reporting problems, even less receiving them, I'm sure, I'd rather do it now and do what I can help sort it out than have this popup for another 50 pages...

What about CalendarStorage.apk should that be disabled as well?

Edit: if I had a bet to place, it would be missing system library. Many people (me included) flash only partial Gapps packages. So there's most probably nothing wrong with TBO's calendar, but I'm something missing for goofle to be happy.

Yes it will prompt android is upgrading on every flash. That's screaming signature issues. But.....It's Google's signature...not a test key. Try signing it and flash it with the zip. See if the system sees it, might be a one off, normally don't sign system apps.

Signed the app (with test keys only), replaced it within original zip, re-signed the zip (same: test keys) flashed it and getting the same end result.

I didn't clear dalvik-cache to force an app opt/rebuild but I doubt it would help here anyway.

Edit:

After doing the above, I went in the system/app folder with RootExplorer then click and installed the app. It did, I've rebooted and I got the "android is updating". But then it was the "Calendar has stopped /report/OK" popup festival even after tuning off privacy guard, setting the firewall (allow calendar wifi access) and a reboot.

Re-flashed the original TBO zip, got android is upgrading again (promising, I thought) then same popups bombardment. Deleted that calendar and renamed my old one to revert to it, reboot: no old and trusted calendar in drawer. Dang!

I'm preping for M12 flashing now...hopefully I get the the basic CM calendar back -lol

Let's do first thing right: could anyone plz share the MD5 Hash of the zip please?

What you see in the updater is what's supported until you see otherwise.

I feel a little targeted here but I will refrain. Maybe you'd be surprised to learn what was on the path of some people...

On that note, I give up on the calendar (for now anyway). Tried after installing snapshot-M12 and got all the same over...

Sorry if I couldn't pinpoint what was the issue here, but enough headache for one day.
