It's a shame the uninformed don't realize the task at hand

If a developer had a handful of testers but only a few programmers..... how fast do you think the project will go? The speed at which the testers can point out flaws or the speed at which the developer can make time to make/program this custom UI? Lol

I have been following both the kite and slick UI threads for a while but its not clear if either will be ready any time soon. It would be nice if any of the testers/devs could post an update for us curious onlookers.

Also, I might suggest an MIUI dev type of an approach to making these happen. Blogs, community involvement, porting and testing compatibility on multiple devices etc can only help. I am being blunt in saying that its up to you OP but MIUI is spectacular and it did not happen by just a few people banding together. As they say, it takes a village to bring up a boy...

By the look of this thread, I would say they have about 300,000 people willing to beta test. I think you missed the beta by one post.....

I'm not interested in this at all. Don't count on me as a final user.

At least, that's something different to read...

I'll test on my rooted Galaxy S vibrant if you guys want, even though I'm sure you have enough people

PS - everyone who is b*tching about it not being released yet needs to grow up.....would you rather them release a version that doesn't work??? If you want it that bad create your own damn apps

Looks nice, It would be great to have some more news about development progress and major flaws which might delay its release. But, nonetheless its a new concept
