So with that said both use same chipset and OS and GPU so your chances are 50/50 try it out if not you can always flash back to the ORIG ROM but I suggest you make a complete backup of all your important data and even your ROM if you do not have one or cannot find the ROM from the provider. Also there may be someone who ported some ROMs for the A500S that work on A600 so you might want to do a search here and see.

PS: I did notice that there is a A500S and A500S IPS you did not list your full phones specs.
