[ROM][AOSP][4.2.2] Team Asylum CM - Slim, Fast and Murdered Out[02-26-2013]

First things first, madmack - who started it all. Thank him, also the community who donated a device to codeworkx so we could get official CM support. With out these things this rom would not happen.

Features
-built from cm source
-light weight - 130 megs (removed apk's will be in seperate zip)
-everything blacked out
-status bar icon drawing raised to 85%(icons are brighter in status bar)
-ro.sf.lcd density=240
-init.d scripts - better mounting and removing jornalism
-SuperSU is default
-Holo Launcher HD is default
-amazing battery life
-kernel OC'd up to 2.0ghz - 640mhz on the GPU
-ads blocked
-more will come, but this is just the beginning....

How to Install
-back up apps/sms/misc settings
-download rom from here
-OPTIONAL - download removed apk's from here(these need to be pushed to /system/app - the zip is NOT flashable).
-download gapps from here
-reboot into recovery
-nandroid just to be safe
-wipe data
-flash rom
-flash gapps
-reboot
-profit.

Upgrading?
-download update from goo app, or goo.im
-reboot to recovery
-flash rom
-reboot.

Downloads
All downloads will be hosted on my goo account. They will be located here goo.im/devs/antiochasylum/t0lte and be listed by date in the file name, Year, Month, Day.

-quick settings have 4 tiles across now
-upped the kernel to 2.0ghz(be careful with this speed - credit to morfic)
-kernel is undervolted stock now
-MMS blacked out
-contacts are blacked out
-removed lockscreen rotation

-open source audio now(thank codeworkx! )
-cherry picked the mic in call muting
-gpu now @ 640, stock voltages.
-tweaked GPU thresholds should give a smoother experience
-settings strings are all silly now lol.
-settings are now dual panel(tablet like)

Hi- Thank you. Wanted to give this a shot but I must be doing something wrong. I did a full wipe and installed the zip but it keeps terminating for some reason. Do I need to install another ROM first and then the smaller zip file?

Sorry, just wanted to try this out but it won't install.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I don't follow? You getting an error flashing it? What recovery?

Cwm recovery. I use it to flash other ROMs and they install...

Try TWRP, others have reported issues on CWM as well.

Nice to see another AOSP rom here. How wonderful. I have been on cm 10.1 since the first nightly and tried the others based on it anbd I gotta say I have really never been a stock cm fan but this 4.2.1 is great. I cant wait to try your take on it. By the way thanks for the oc kernel and wow what a small build. well here we go.

Looks Great!! Is there any type of Toggles available that at least have WIFI, MOBILE DATA, SCREEN etc that can be used with this? Or is it somewhere in the settings that I missed possibly.

Go to "about phone" & start tapping "build number". Dev options will appear after a few taps.

Phone app force closes...not sure if it's the DPI or something that I'm doing wrong. Tried clearing caches and data.

EDIT: After doing another fresh install it appears that restoring the call log through MyBackupPro is what causes the issue.

Consistently getting Error 504 when I'm trying to update / download applications from Google Play store using data connection; tried 3 different versions of Google play for JB 4.2 with no luck; wiped data / cache of Google Play, framework and downloader, fixed permissions, removed and re-added my google account; only way I can get downloads to work under Google Play is via Wifi connection, if I'm on data connection it won't work. Can anyone help me with a suggestion?

Internet and downloads work fine outside Google Play, so I believe it's not the APN settings. Need help to solve this please.

Antioch, you know man I haven't really been tempted to put cm on this thing until seeing this ROM. I'll tell you something man, of all the kernels and updated kernels for this device, and I have flashed them all. Few of them last more than a day on my n2 and are replaced again by your asylumcore kernel. Doesn't get anymore stable than that one for me.

If this build is anything like that, I've found a new permanent home for your ROM too. Nice to see you here bro
