jjdoctor, change the updater script in the rom so it will not wipe the data. Then it will not bootloop. It works on my test rom.:D

Do you think it would be possible to add the network type icons (G/3G/H) to the status bar? I really miss them...

I can't rebuild framework-res.apk use apktool 1.4.3 ,which one tool are you using?

Can we flash it on Lastest Firmware .526 (official) ??
or is it just for beta

I be been using you mod since the beginning. Thank you very much for your hard work.

Was wondering, if i only want status bar widget mod, can i replace the systemui.apk in system folder with the right permissions? And then install quicksetting.apk? Do i need something else?

I understood that you modified phone.apk for 2g/3g toggle? If i don't use it (remove from statusbar) , i will not create any problem, will i?

It should do okay.. It's ok to not use the Phone.apk if you don't want 2g/3g toggle. Just that it won't response your click then :)

@kicoi: Maybe you could try to edit the image supplied inside drawable-hdpi i think. the xml one IIRC is called /res/layout/status_bar.xml

Sorry i won't give up my battery icon mod :eek: It's painful 100 image editing you know.. X) besides, the icon itself is still stock. About the non rotating home, well, just remove the Home.apk from the zip before you flash then.

    I changed battery icon on system UI. It look nicer I think.

    You can add this on your post if you want.



    EDIT: I add my system uı to your Part C (APKs mod: Xperia S Style Home + SBW + Black Keyboard) pack


    IMPORTANT: You must install Part A and Part B before install my CWM pack!


    And made another pack with xperia S keyboard and non-Auto rotation Xperia S Home

    Uploading a new one ;) Turns out it's simple, signature inside META-INF is already a Sony Ericsson one, whereas the leaked one is still a generic Android signature.

    I'll upload the following in one package:
    1. SystemUI.apk -> for StatusBar Widget
    2. Phone.apk -> for Phone 2G/3G toggling
    3. textinput-tng.apk -> Black Keyboard integrated
    4. Home.apk -> Xperia S theme & mirror style and Auto rotatable

    In case you don't like one of them, i'll provide the restore package. Simply replace the one you don't want. :)

    UPDATE: Uploaded Now ;) Okay now i'll finish the Framework Mod :eek:
