So i have a chinese android tablet. On it's back its written: "2500mA/5v". I think 2500mA is the capacity of the battery and 5v the input supported (or some kind of that). The original charger was an ac adapter with 1000mA but it's now broken. I saw in a shop a usb charger with "Output:5V 2000mA". I was wondering if i can use that charger on my tablet without damaging the device?

P.S.: Sorry if i had grammar mistakes. :D

I would use 1000mA again :)

Sent from my beloved HTC One S using (most time buggy) Tapatalk :)

Yeah i would too but i can't find any 1000mA charger and with usb charging the battery drains with about 5% per minute. Would 2000mA hurt?

P.S.: Thanks for answering.

Edit: Also do you know why is the battery draining so fast? And when using it for like playing Minecraft Pocket Edition it gets very hot.
And btw 5% per minute??? Do you think a factory reset would resolve the extreme draining problem?
