Hi, New to the optimus lte, wondering if this root method will work on the lg-P935. I read on another thread that the bell method would work, but I'd like to be sure this is it before I risk bricking b.s. my phone. Any advice would be appreciated.

It does work.. yay!

Just want to thank you for your help. Worked well on P936 with 20c firmware, i just had to run the bat file when the phone boots, at the 2nd bootscreen. Thank you.

Instructions how to ROOT Official Bell Android 4.0.4 firmware version v20e

    Original thread

    0. Extract P930_v20e_ROOT folder from attached file to C: drive
    1. Flash v20e firmware (you can use official tool or UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe method)
    2. Turn on USB debugging and Unknown Sources
    3. Install LG_SystemBackupTest.apk and start it
    4. Wthout touching anything press&hold power button and reboot, after reboot your phone must lags (you can see it by unlock in lockscreen)
    5. Connect phone to PC and start root_P880.bat
    6. Wait until phone reboots several times.
    7. If you get root, you can delete SystemBackupTest app that you have installed on 3d step, because phone will lag with it
