I had the same issue on the stock one. When I installed a themed one text showed up correctly.
Been looking for something stable with more AOSP look to it. This looks really good. Going to flash it tomorrow at work. Yes, when I have to work on Saturday on short notice I tend to be not very productive.
Yeah, I'm hoping this gets updated using the recently released source. I want a nice bare bones stock based rom. This is really the only one that falls into that category
Tj, can you give any thoughts to a few hours to update this rom to FI27? Just curious as JB AOSP is great and all, but I can't deal with the laggy video that it takes and no camera's fix's the issue. With that I rolled back to my tried and true right here.

WHATS INCLUDED
HOW TO INSTALL
1. You cannot flash this over the stock ROM or any other ROM. You must do a FULL WIPE. Calk's format all zip works great.
2. Clockwork is the preferred method of flashing this ROM. DO NOT flash this ROM through Rouge recovery. So you will need to flash a EL29 repacked kernel, wipe everything and then flash this ROM. Sorry but its like that with ICS leaks. Remember that you will lose the custom Recovery after flashing this ROM.
3. I haven't tried the repacked Rouge FC18 kernel on this. If you try it, YOU MUST BOOT INTO THE ROM FIRST AND THEN FLASH IT THROUGH ODIN.
4.PLEASE give the kernel time to set in before posting about battery life. Its like that with any kernel
5. This ROM has been really stable. If you have any issues please post the following info:
a)Did you odin/flash the EL29 repacked to flash this ROM?
b)Which kernel are you using?
c)Have you used the Stock FC18 ROM and had the same problem?
