I am trying to flash this ROM with Mobile Odin, but I get this warning:

This OTA / Update ZIP will issue a format() command. This is known to sometimes hard-brick (unrecoverable) devices. Are you sure you want to continue?

Is this something I should take seriously, or is it safe to proceed anyway?

Have any of you seen this before?

I would stop where you are and step away from the tablet. Do you not have TWRP or CWM installed? If you do, then you should just download the zip, boot to recovery, make a back-up, wipe and install. If you don't and are not sure what TWRP or CWM are, then i recommend some reading/research. Odin and Mobile odin are typically not the programs to be flashing Roms with.

Yes, I have CWM and will use that instead.

I have used Mobile Odin several times before without seing this warning, though.

Anyone getting serious lag on this ROM? I just clean installed the latest build, alongside with BasketBuild's Lollipop GApps, and it's lagging like really, every click takes around 15 seconds to 1 minute to complete. It's okay when everything else is closed though. The moment I open an app, say, Play Store, it'll show a white screen and simply freeze there and become really unresponsive.

Was this the cm12 rom you are talking about? Otherwise your gapps might be the wrong version

    This is an unoffical build of CyanogenMod 11 for the Samsung GalaxyTab 7.7.
    Although it still have many issues, it is quite interesting to take a bite on the KitKat. I never expect we can go this far..:D

    It has be too long for the cm-11 update. I was stuck at the settings for sometime. The performance settings is replace with Omni's. As lollipop is out, this would be probably the final build. :)

    Finally get cm-11 boot! In this build, new kernel is included, GPU settings are added to performance settings. Hoping any 7.7 devices may get a stable GPU O/C settings ;)

    Haven't updated the cm-11.0 for a long time. Just waiting for a more stable release. Cumulative fixes from other builds are included. Locationging problem in 4.4.3 is fixed in 4.4.4. Bettery life seems better too! Don't forget using the latest Gapps for 4.4.4. :D

    This new build include all the fixes in my Slimkat + Incall screen is fixed! Sames as the dialer, the inCall screen is portrait now. :cool:
    For some unknown reason. screen is distorted after rotation found in few apks (like build-in Browser). Same fix in Slimkat doesn't work for cm11 and Omni... However, a simple relaunch from recent menu will fix that. That would be the only minor issue left....;)

    Finally, bluetooth headset is fixed! Cheers! :highfive:
    During calls, press bluetooth headset button once will direct audio to headset press again will end call.
    VoiceDialer is not working with bluetooth yet but Google seach can be activated by pressing bluetooh button.
    Only mirror issues left so it is reaching beta now...

    So long for an update! Finally fix the bootloop in bluetooth this weekend. Wifi ON/OFF loop is fixed. Quick fix in Camera as Omni. In this new build, WiFi-tethering, WiFi-direct and limited bluetooth is working now. ;)
    AFH and goo.im are back to normal now!

    It was a productive Christmas. I finally find a way to keep both WiFi and mobile data. Not a good way but it works.. Seems it's worth missing the Christmas dinner. Uploading now :highfive: I can start with bluetooth now. Another long long road ahead!

    It was a productive weekend. Manage to fix the backlight and light sensor. GPS is also working now. For the camera, preview and auto focus ok but can't save any photo... A patched gapps-20131113 and a stable 20131031 were uploaded.
    For ART, I've tested it in my Nexus7 with SlimKat (AOSP based. I plan to build it for our tab later). Same result, com.google.process.gapps crash and PLAY is not usable. That would be a good news since it is not hardware related. ;) Will test again right after Factory reset later.

    I began trying this right after finishing download. It is harder as expected. The source itself is an alpha release. I can make it boot after stuggling for a while but our old mali blobs are no longer working with the new opengl. Screen color was messed up. All HAL driver not working properly... I finally patch the platform and fixed some of the problems this weekend! It is just presentable now. Very glad that it comes before the official builds...:D

    Recovery requirement
    ** CWM6, TWRP 2.3.1 or above is OK.
    Most of the 4.4 Roms require the latest reovery with file_contexts and set_metadata support.I have patch the update-binary to work with old recoveries.

    I tried l-preview last month. It was never straight forward. The source is not supportive to old devices...:(
    I have to reinstate modified old codes (mainly in graphics and OpenGL) to make it work.
    How to root would be the main issue we and others facing. Only Nexus devices have solution now.

    Here are the screenshot on my cm-12.0 (at this stage, it is more or less the same as AOSP). It reboot many times at the Samsung logo before showing the boot animation... However, it is quite stable afterward. Bluetooth and phone are not working yet. It is far from presentable. Still a long way to go...

    Not much time for this but I just managed to fix the Camera. I'm working on mobile data now. The old blob is not compatible with the new platform. Seaching for similar source from other devices.Hoping to use an opensource driver like the camera.
    Don't have any other big progress and no significant updates in cm11 too. If anything new coming up, I'll release it. ;)

    I take a look after the match. I know what's wrong now. It was the audio policy.
    I add the back mic policy earlier. I found out later that our tab is hardwired (that means no needed). I don't know why camera2 use it for capture.
    I'm on a newer build which has already cleanup. Therefore I don't have problem...:eek:

    Use a root browser to replace the file in /etc. Change the permission to 0644 if necessary.
    Wait for my next build if you don't want to mess with it.
