Although this was already confirmed by 3waygeek and Ghost77 (thanks for trailblazing this one for us guys!) prior to my replicating their results, I thought I would start a separate thread for this news, since you have to wade through pages of speculation in the existing thread before getting to the information you need.

I've already nearly filled the card, oh well... look forward to 128GB cards next year? Better start saving now...

There is lots more detail with benchmarks and so forth at AndroidNZ: Sandisk 64GB Micro SDXC cards confirmed WORKING in Galaxy S II, HTC Sensation, Galaxy S, and of course the original thread here.

really? it works on TF? i'm getting TF soon so buying a 64GB is a must since tablet space must be > phone space IMO. haha~~

Yep, works in my Transformer too. I gave up on my Android tablet being more powerful than my phone a while ago - won't happen while the tablets are running on Tegra 2 SoC's. Bring on the Kal-el though and we'll see!

Only place is Sandisk US online store as far as I'm aware. If you're outside the US you'll need to use a mail forwarding company to get it to you - I used Shipito and they've been fantastic on each of the occasions I've used them.

I bought mine from JMS.. Its a small electronic goods store in the UK. They sell alot of imported stuff. They have a few ps vita's that just came in. They don't release here till November.

This is very good to know esepcially for the earlier models but seriously, I have no need for so much storage on a mobile device. ;)

I filled my card using the SD Card Tester program from Android Market; it's definitely 64GB. Since I bought the card direct from SanDisk, I'm reasonably certain it's not a fake.;)

After searching around for the best deals in the UK. Play.com has it at the cheapest with it at pricing at £99.99 Free delivery. If you use the code '48tech' within 48 hours from this post, you should be able to get 10% off. A pretty good deal considering everywhere else is above £100 as far as I can tell. Release in uk is due end of the month. Thanks to the op for the review and the news.

Hope I helped any video/music/memory enthusiasts

So people that bought them how is it so far? No problems?

No problem fast reads , a tad slow writes (~4500kbs) compared to my uber fast class 10 32gb (~15000kbs). Id say its abit slower then class 6 maybe class 4~ .

I always have it 80% full, delete and write new stuff ,few gigs a day.

Its first of its kind year or two later i imagine we will have these in class 10 range, untill then if you want maximum capacity this is it. :D
