[Q] Replace Bootloader?

I once heard on one of these sections on other phones about replacing the bootloaders on phones? Is it possible with the M8 and if so what would the benefits be if there was ever a custom one or something?

I suggest you first take a look at the sticky threads at the top of the first two Verizon M8 forums, General & Q&A. Maybe even watch a video or three. It's all there.
