Yes. SanDisk is a quality product, although if its not on sale, you could probably save a few bucks and get a PNY class 10 card... Anything over Class 6 is just a waste of money in this phone though unless you are going to use it in an external reader.

Why is it not a waste? The phone can't read/write to the external SD card any faster than Class 6 speeds, probably closer to Class 4 speeds. That is why phones in this era only came with Class 4 cards from the manufacturer. If you get a faster card there is no gain, you are just paying for something you won't use. Unless you are going to use it in an external card reader capable of higher speeds, safe the few bucks.

I transfer tons of files back and forth. It uses every bit of the speed.

Yes, a long time ago I posted the transfer speeds and the random read/write. They were all above spec for a class 10 and much higher than the class 4 or whatever you guys are trying to sell me. Lmao.

So I don't know about the limitations on my hardware on SII skyrocket, but I do fancy fast transfer rates and for that reason once I found a deal on a SanDisk 64GB extreme card I jumped on it like a barbarian.
I must say my usual back ups using sk8's CWM that used to take 6-7 minutes now take less than 4.
This card reads and writes faster than your own skyrocket's internal SD card!
I'm using exFAT partition with 128KB allocation size, and it is not like I'm gonna keep my skyrocket for another 10 years, once I move on (if I finally do because I really like this phone and its community on xda) this card is going with me.
