So I threw together a couple a kernels that I happen to like.
Maybe you shall as well!!!

Features:
  • updated to 2.6.35.14
  • smartass v2
  • simple io scheduler
  • oced to 1.8 ghz
  • jhash3
  • various tweaks thanks to CAF

Quirks:
  • Has issues with soft reboots on steel rom (may be fixed in v0.02)

hey bcnice! i remember you from the evo 4g! you would provide miui to our phones!! and then you switched to the evo shift :(, but really glad to see you back here! :)

Thank you! Been waiting for some custom kernels to flash. Hope someone gets HAVS working on them sometime soon.

Sense is 2.3.4 right? Some cfs love? And other crap I dont need but makes it sound cool?

thanks for everything you do for the XDA community. Would not be possible w/o you. From the EVO 4G days glad to see you aboard.

Yes the sense version is 2.3.4 only and this is only the beginning more tweaks will b added within the next couple of days

Also Scott said the Aosp version works with miui just don't try to enable WiFi on it or you will get a reboot.. still looking into that

Sense: Auto brightness doesnt work. LEDs were off.

Had to rewipe cache and dalvik. It works now.

#SWAG!!!

Could you make a sense version that has dim capacitive leds? I hate how bright they are

    You guys know that you can use Root Explorer and go to /sys/devices/platform/leds-pm8058/leds/button-backlight/
    Open up the currents file in text editor, the value should be 20, change it to 2, save and exit, and ur lights will be half as bright. I do it with every rom I flash.

    Yea one thing I'm not gunna trip over is a quad score.
    My focus is stability, batt life, and real world performance
    If you have a issue with any of those then we have a problem that needs fixing. :)
