It won't install, I guess because of system write protection. Is there a way to install it without flashing a new rom or a new kernel?
Any flashable zip?

S off and then change the system to R/W. It's fairly easy to do. There's even a guide for you to follow in the q&a section of this forum.

i am on stock 5.0.1 rooted, twrp 2.8.6.1, s-on
busy box on rails tells that busy box is installed but some applets missing (in details it tells one applets missing while others installed)
finally not useful as i want busybox for V4A , so waiting for solution.

What I did was to backup via TWRP the ROM - wipe the phone and restore the ROM. At the end right before reboot TWRP asked me if I wanted to root the rom, did so and all was good.
