Let me just say this, I am a noob to this world of android. My wife and I switched to android 4 months ago after having an iPhone for 4 years. I did a ton of beta testing for new things on the iPhone when I had it, this is just the same. Getting what's new and testing and learning. This is a nice ROM, I like. However it does have things that do not work, but its beta so that should be expected. Is it a daily driver no is it cool cause its JB on the note? Yes!!! Thanks so much to the devs!!!

So I have been running this for about a day now and overall I love it. I have been running tons of ICS based roms and the battery life on this seems to be far ahead of where ICS is. I am at 40% right now and I am usually at 15% this time of the day. Take into account that this is a new rom for me so I have been playing with it much more than I normally would and it is a big win. But the biggest win for me is the fact that the damn phone will go to deep sleep after being on any charger now. I would have to reboot the phone every morning to get it to deep sleep. And if I was using it as a GPS in the car I would also charge it which means I would have to reboot it when I got out of the car.

Edit... Video plays but black and white also color looks like old school TVs when you put a magnet to it lol...

Excellent rom, from what I see, just camera, google now and apps to sd needs to work then i would be 100% happy, I'm at 99% now. Developers, great work!
Ive tried paranoid version same thing happens with the boot looping, I am using TWp 2.2.1.1.
I had to take a break from trying to flash this thing because I just cant seem to get it to boot no matter what I try.

Mine certainly does not work. Can someone add that to the list of problems? Other than that besides whats listed in the OP it works great! Is there a nightly out yet for CM10? I dont see CM10 for our devices anywhere just AOKP version. Not that I mind of course. I just want plain CM10 nightly.

I fee llike I have tried everything under the son to get this rom to flash but no matter what Itry it still boot loops. Ive re downloaded all thre files several times and followed the instructions to a t. Im still getting boot loops. Im using twp2.2.1.1 and have flashed the internal kernal on my old ROM just fine. I get no errors while installing. All I see is the boot animation run for a few minutes then the smasung thing and then it boots again.
Can someone please give me some other things I can try to get this rom to work. Can it be my phone? I really need someones help.

You should try a different recovery

There is your problem, you have tried everything under the SON. maybe try everything under the sun.
Do you have rom manager Installed? If so click the top option and install clockwork and keep installing the updates that may pop up. Flash the rom using clockwork then

5-flash rom then kernel, then gapps *easy to do in twrp2 as you can set it to flash all 3, 1 after another.
6-reboot and wait.

for google play store clear the cache, clear data, force stop then reboot. might throw another error, just download again should work.

I have cleaned the last few pages of this thread, tbh i am disgusted by some of the post i have read, they are just childish moans. Its is clear this is a beta preview build, so its not going to be perfect. No one has been forced to use it, so dont like it, dont ***** about it, use something else! Just appreciated the developers efforts, they put a lot of effort into there work for everyone's benefit and dont need any aggravation in return.
Also dont type in large red bold text, this really annoys me, there is no need unless you are a MOD posting a notice or a OP who wants to make something clear. Otherwise its like a spoiled child throwing there toys out of the pram because they dont get enough attention.
