this tip is not mine, and I read it somewhere here on XDA (if the person who wrote that reads this, please feel free to contact and I will add Credits ASAP
)
This tip will help you keep your favorite Bootanimation regardless of the ROM you are flashing AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT FLASH DATA PARTITION, so if you are on MAHDI/PA/Slim/WhatEver and you like a different bootanimation and you want it to "survive" DIRTY FLASHING this is for you :highfive:
- grab your favorite bootanimation.zip
- copy it to /data/local
- set appropriate permissions 644 (or rw-r--r-- as you wish )
- enjoy
