It's done...hopefully.

Let's continue this discussion here, since it doesn't have anything to do with the ROM development.
Please, read that last post carefully and try to do everything as instructed. This test needs to be done perfectly, in order for other people to be able to rely on those Gapps.
Make a nandroid backup before proceeding to anything, and make a clean installation of the ROM.

LAG

super lag around 50apps installed. I just have few SNS apps installed and it's very lag even with ramexpander with 500mb swap. any fix? is this the kernel problem? I dun have this problem with 100+apps installed with 500mb swap by ramexpander in my SGM2.

Why SGM2 could run without much lag problem but SGW can't even stand it? That shouldn't sound possible Lol or is the rom problem? I Dowan kitkat Because kitkat doesn't support swap I can't enable ramexpander. is there any suggestion any better rom for sgw?

CM10.1 development is dead due to basically what you'd call a lack of developer interest (or a developer). Swap worked fine for me under CM11 using Mounts2SD (old but still fine).

If you want stable ROM and swap, go for CM9. Theres swap in the ROM. Also, CM11 has swap to by editing build.prop.

It was made before SELinux so you have to make /system partition read-write manually and before it does the initial check, it should work fine if you do that. Otherwise, what Titan says... :p

/system partition is ad set as read-write in file manager but no hope. step by step guide please... :(

1. Install app, do NOT launch because initial setup will detect R/O and not re-check properly.
2. Set /system (and maybe fsroot too) as R/W in file manager, and minimize (not close) it.
3. Launch Mounts2SD, Let it do the initial setup, it should work now.

Did it on my brother's Xperia Live running CM11 a few hours ago, worked fine.

Reverted to 4.2.2 yesterday with stock kernel. And I wonder how can ~15mb ram left on this ROM can smooth like hell. Even ~150mb on KK or lollipop can't smooth like this ROM.

Before you install CM-10.1: Preparation (First three are optional. If you want to start fresh, these can be skipped)

    1. Install AppBak from Market, run it and save a list of all your apps.
    2. Install SMS Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your SMS history.
    3. Install Call Logs Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your call log history.
    4. Boot into CWM5 recovery. Make a full backup. You will need this backup later if you decide to go back to your previous ROM and data.
WARNING: Many apps will Force Close crash if you restore data from a previous ROM.

    Install

    1. Use CWM5 or CWM6.
      • Warning: Only use this recovery to flash CM-10.1. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone!
    2. Wipe data and cache.
    3. Flash update*.zip.
    4. Flash gapps*.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM10.1 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
    5. Reboot phone.
    6. After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.
    7. Warning: Do not restore backup data of system apps!
      • If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
      • It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.
    Upgrades
Upgrades from previous versions of CM10.1 are the same process as install, except you do not need to wipe anything. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to even wipe cache and dalvik-cache when upgrading between CM10.1 versions. You only need to wipe if you are doing a major upgrade, switching to a different ROM entirely, or attempting to fix bugs caused by bad backups or corrupt app data.
