No, it hasn't. I still don't understand why the phone jumps immediately to a high amperage.

It may jump to a higher amperage once or twice, but for it to keep a sustained ~1100mA without dropping is surprising.

I dug my old Moto X Style out (also has a microUSB 2.0 port) and compared the two via Ampere. Notice how the Note 4 jumps to 1000mA immediately after the cable is plugged in, while the Moto X Style spiked to 960mA once, before going back down to lower levels. Why is that? The voltage is also higher on the Note 4. Used the same adapter and cable to test both.

I suppose I'll have to end the conversation here. I don't know if the issue is the ROM, or if this is normal for the device. I'd have to test it on MIUI 9 too, and I'm too lazy to do that right now.

I also didn't know the Note 4 uses lithium polymer instead of lithium ion. Interesting.

With 2000mA charger, max current is 1720mA

For some reason los has never been stable for me since it came on treble. Los based roms are fine but stock los is giving me issues. After abt a day or so, the rom will bootloop.

How to disable sound on screenshot?

How can I disable sound, when I take a screenshot by power button? I couldn't find the knob. Thanks in advance.

    And here arrives update after a long span but for sure, update wont disappoint any of you :p

    As treble has been implemented there are few mandatory changes before you flash this build.

    Since a new partition was required for full treble we converted an unused cust partition into vendor which is almost 830mb in size, No we are not re-partitioning your device or anything else which may hardbrick your device :)


    phhusson was kind enough to let me try his unreleased gsi (global system image) and test treble on my mido and it worked perfectly :p attaching some screenshots you can keep record of treble 8.1 rom at https://xdaforums.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development/experimental-phh-treble-t3709659

    It seems lineage-15.1 bandwagon is about to ship so you can expect official lineage within next 2 weeks :)
