Hats off to you for giving proper credit to Zep for his script.. you don't see that very often anymore. Hahaha.. this ROM looks fantastic, I don't own an Evo anymore, but have a couple ROMs floating around for this phone.

Anyways, good work on this.. and thank you for giving credit where it's due. If you ever need any help or have questions, feel free to PM me or comment in a thread of mine!! There are a LOT of helpful people in this forum (as you know), and I am always willing to lend a hand when needed. Just throwing that out there. :)

Thanks man, I can't think of anything right now but I am pretty sure I have almost all lag eliminated. Look for an update soon.

I did this in the terminal but didn't notice the last step of rebooting... *facepalm*
I'm going to reflash this and see if that fixes the issue.

I reflashed the ROM, went to Terminal after I updated it and did the drmserver& with reboot, and the issue still persisted. Some apps download just fine, but others think my phone is a difference device?

Another weird thing I noticed, and this isn't specific to this ROM, is that Provision's Gallery app would show all my synced photos from Picasa, but in this ROM and MazWoz's JB the gallery app won't show them at all. It was nice having that because I could upload pics to the cloud and wipe them from my device, but still be able to see them like normal.

Someone do me a favor and upload this ROM's build.prop? I'd like to take a peek at it.

Let me know if you find anything. I've got an update coming really soon... it's lag free on the Shift.

You have some interesting tweaks in there. It almost seems like it would clash, but it isn't.. And V6 supercharger... Do you have anyway to prove its working? I find it relatively interesting.

Yeah... use the base ROM then use this ROM. Performance is the only way you can prove it works.

    This is a port of my ROM on the Shift, this community has given so much to me that I felt the need to give back. It is the most stable JB ROM we have and hopefully it will be pretty stable on the EVO too. I DON'T HAVE AN EVO!!!! So I will try my best to fix bugs but don't expect much. And I don't know if there will be any updates but probably at least one.
    This is based on jmztaylor's latest CM10 (unofficial) nightly. Located here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1785498

    > Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue

    Most of Graphic Glitches are Gone. Even though some users are experiencing them. Follow the Steps below to avoid these Graphic Glitches.

    Use ROM Toolbox or any other build.prop editor to change the below values in the build.prop or add lines in the build.prop.

    Make sure---> debug.composition.type=gpu

    Make sure---> debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=2

    If you don't have them, add them at the bottom of your build.prop. If you have to change the values or add lines, reboot afterward.

    > Instagram Problem

    After applying the Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue Solution do the Following also.

    ->Enable Developer Options
    -> Put tick mark to Disable HW overlays. (This gets disable on every reboot. Enable it again)
    -> Put tick mark to Force GPU rendering.
    -> Put tick mark to Don't Keep Activities.

    OP updated with JellyBelly v5: Lagfree Edition... ENJOY!!! Just for the record I am going to leave Alpha in the title of the thread simply because I don't own this device and there is no way for me to test anything... However I built this ROM from an EVO 4G ROM and you don't need to worry about it not working but do please inform me of any bugs and I will do my best to get them resolved. Thanks for using my ROM, I hope you enjoy it (I think you will).
