Hey~why not return back to Blue&Black theme?
I think Blue&Black will looks nice and more people will like it.

HD video (960 x 540) resolution and the full screen on a plasma 50" tv. I can't display recorded videos on my phone on my plasma full screen.

There is still a lot of information missing:
  • What device do you use to display your video's on your plasma?
  • Did you run through your plasma's settings: are you sure it is a problem in your media playing device?
  • Does it work on other tv's?
  • Does it work with other media playing devices, eg. laptop, popcorn hour, or playstation?
You still leave out vital information, what did you test? What possible causes did you discard?

init.d doesn't yet work for me. My flash process:
  • recovery
  • flash 2.6
  • flash faux 6
  • flash addons
  • reboot
  • patch services.jar
  • recovery
  • flash services.jar
  • reboot
  • install v6
  • reboot
I'm going to do a full wipe and try again.

Is there any screenshoot of this ROM more detailed and newer than these ones that appear in first page?
I am about to leave my Sense ROM and to install this one, but i don`t know the appearance of non-sense ROMs and some pictures would help me make the decision.

Bummer, wiping everything didn't solve a thing. It also doesn't have to do with the kernel or addons as during the last iteration I didn't flash those. init.d support is still broken for me. I'm gonna go back to 2.4 and see if it works there. If it does I'll stick to that for a while.

i tried flashing the rom, but since 2.6 is out, i'll see if this fixes the wifi. i'm also on the latest version of faux' kernel.

edit: even after installing 2.6 and faux kernel, wifi still doesnt' work. maybe it's just the kernel that's screwing it up. anyone else using faux kernel and their wifi working or not working? what other kernel alternatives should i look into?

Wi-Fi did work for me, hotspot didn't work properly however. I currently am back on 2.4 for the init.d support. There the hotspot doesn't work properly as well, I can enable it, but changing settings is impossible.

    How To Flash

    Updated finer volume control mod!

    On request from alpha_dro, who was also gracious enough to serve as a guinea pig and test everything below, I have updated the finer volume control mod based on the 3.9 release.

    The mod increases the number of steps in the various volume controls based on this great thread from AndroidON.

    Basically it gives you finer volume control, more discrete levels to get the perfect level.

    It does not increase the volume levels

    If you want that go here to Mudhi's thread.

    The standard number of levels is below for the various sounds. So if you are in a voice call, and you hit the side volume buttons, you only get 5 levels, or 6 actually counting silent If you are playing a song in Winamp you can choose 15 different levels.

    15 - Music (includes movies)
    7 - Alarm
    7 - Notifications
    15 - Bluetooth
    7 - System Enforced
    15 - DTMF

    Not all of them are used as there are only ten values in the table entry for the mod file, either DTMF or TTS is missing, not sure how to test it but doesn't matter I think.

    Just to be clear, the "Original" version just flashes the original unmodified framework.jar back to /system/framework. Flash normally in recovery.

    If you have issues using PowerAmp, try changing your settings like below.
    Power Amp settings - Audio Engine - Advanced Tweaks - Uncheck 'Direct Volume Control'

    Don't forget to flash your kernel again and all your init.d scripts
