Issue flashing the kernel [SOLVED]
I'm replying to myself as I found a way to solve the problem.
It seems that it was all due to the missing /system/vendor
I connected as root to adb and issued:
rmdir /system/vendor
ln -sf /data/idd /system/vendor
After a reboot everything is OK.
I'm still puzzled as my device looks different from the others, though.

Wifi Drivers
Where is wifi drivers? I can't find it in OP and also comments. The OP said after flashing kernel, i need to flash wifi driver. Please someone point me where that is.

It's a quite expensive app, but works perfectly.... I think it's worth every penny

nope. advanced stock kernel supported. 100% working..:laugh:
I tried some free apps first, but they didn't work for me so I decided to pay up and I've not regretted it.
But pleasy try the free ones and update here if you find any descent one. I've been running Callrecorder for well over 6 months so there might have been someone making a nice free app lately which I've missed

Yup..
Changed to 77... it`s the same...
One peculiar thing-- when i try to keep the connection always active like say continuous downloading/ ping -t command then it stays on.. but when i keep it in idle for some time it disconnects..
And one more thing, I see that ZRAM is enabled by default in this kernel.. (When i put 'free' command, i get some 60 mb free SWAP)
I am using SWAP Partition of 512 mb in my microSD.. So
1.with all i`ve read, i come to understand that having ZRAM and SWAP together is waste.. Am i correct?
2.If i wana disable the zram, then How can i do that?
3.I`ve been putting swappiness as 60. Is it ok? or shall i put some other value??

I found software rendering patches on the web site of Linaro
now I have been using the Official ICS ROM, there is a very laggy, such as scrolling
but, after applying this patch, now works quite smoothly
to developper, let's try to patch
my dedexed and patched framework.jar(from official ics rom)
using this framework.jar, whether work with other rom I do not know

if you create a ROM to compile the android source codes, you have to do apply this patch to source codes.
if you want to apply to compiled framework.jar,
step1: decompile a framework.jar
Code:$ java -jar baksmali.jar framework.jar
step2: replace source file
replace next two files
Code:/android/app/ActivityManager.smali /android/view/HardwareRenderer.smali
step3: recompile a framework.jar
Code:$ java -jar smali.jar out -o classes.dex
step4: using 7zip, replace classes.dex in framework.jar
step5: added next line in your build.prop
Code:ro.nohardwaregfx=true
if you want to disable software rendering, edit your build.prop follow
Code:ro.nohardwaregfx=false
Knowledge issues:
when enable software rendering, Chrome beta not work.
