ZeroCamera V1 | JPG100 Forced | 25/30 Mbps | 256k Audio | Based on 4.4.2 Camera


I have forced JPG100 for every picture taken.

Everything else in the Camera is standard apart from video/audio bitrates. I've also included JPG 10 for you to prove its forced.

4.4.2 Camera Mod
Also works on 4.4.1 Roms.

If you install manually, ensure the /system/app/GoogleCamera.odex is deleted, and then restart phone. The install script deletes automatically.

Trying them out now. :good:

Flashed via recovery and everything is working fine.
25Mbps is enough for me :)

What is that ? I'm on stock 4.4. Can i install this instead of having to put android 4.4.2 to fix my camera ?

Hi,

No need the libs from the OTA update too?

Like:

It's just a question... Because these libs are in the OTA update.

mmm.......cause i don't want to upgrade to 4.2.2 cause don't want to loose root and having to reinstall everything. I'll wait for a fix for the camera goes out without having to upgrade

Camera related libs seem to be identical.

It works on 4.4.1 as that's what I'm on. Probably best to upgrade to 4.4.2 to be 100% sure.

So what exactly is the 25/30MB for? Video recording? What is stock at? I'm unfamiliar with that whole side of things.

Is jpeg100 considered a raw photo? So how large does an 8mp photo end up being? Does this work on 4.4.0 roms?

Yes but then you have to think about how much space your videos will take up. If you mainly take short videos then that's probably best.

JPG100 is not raw, if you point the camera zoomed in and focus on your monitor. It will produce a 7MB file, the detail will be captured if its there.
