screen turns off while making or receiving a call

I hv bought karbonn sparkle 15 days ago but it's screen turns off while making or receiving a call please help me

Thats not a bug.
It is a feature so that you dont end up touching buttons with your cheeks. Although if you look closely you can see small black sensor about the front camera and if you dont put anything in front of it while making a call it wont turn the screen off.
