Excellent program! I'm having an issue at the perm-root stage. It's stuck at: "C:\Vivid_All-In-One_Kit_v1.2\Vivid_All-In-One_Kit_v1.2\data>adb wait-for-device"

I've tried numerous times, my phone makes it into bootloader, but the cursor just flashes on my pc. So far no luck. Anyone else experience this?

I will have to look into it. I can give an update on Wednesday. Have to focus on school first.

Since this seems based for windows based machines....this would be real useful...adb commands like this one for instance

adb shell
su
cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt
exit
exit
adb pull /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt

Regarding the PermRoot, what 'button in the command' are you referring to?

I'm in the recovery menu but I don't know what to do to get the SU files transferred successfully.

For those stuck at permroot, until there's a proper fix from the OP, do the following:

- Leave the command prompt stating 'adb wait-for-device' open

- Go into the folder where the toolkit is installed

- Run SU.bat

- This will force push the files in the other command window, then you can just press any key to finish it up! ;)

EDIT: There's an issue with this method, it appears to give the illusion of giving 'rights' but actually doesn't. Once you have SU installed as per above, use SuperOneClick (link in my sig) to obtain proper root.

Gonna edit that command.

Will try to add updates tomorrow. School is getting a little hectic.

Alright guys. I feel pretty bad saying that I was gonna update this by today and I couldn't. (No wonder why devs hate making ETAs) A lot came into my life. A lot of school as well as my brother's wife will be giving birth to their first child really soon! Pretty exciting.

For those with requests / updates they want me to add, please PM me the link/info/what device it is for. It will be easier to add in. Thanks!

I would like to add for those that like my toolkit, PLEASE DO NOT POST IT ELSEWHERE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!

I have seen multiple sites who copy and paste my work to their site! If I do not approve of it, then do not do it! it will discourage me from adding updates since it is being used for their own benefits!

    tl;dr.

If you post my work without permission, don't expect updates!

I created an easy to use GUI program for the HTC Amaze and I decided to make one for the HTC Vivid. I spent a good over 10+ hours to learn how to script, watch videos on how to do it, working on it during school when I should have been listening lol and all that fun stuff. I am going to fix it and up and add more updates to it. You CAN place requests and I will try to fulfill it!

If this helped you out, Please press the thanks button and if you want, you can always donate!

    Bugs
    - Directory has to have one word.
    Ex:

Will Work. This will solve any issues if the buttons don't work when you press them.

    C:\Users\John\Dropbox\Phones\Amaze_All-In-One_Kit_V2.4

    C:\Users\John_Smith\Dropbox\Phones\Amaze_All-In-One_Kit_V2.4

Will NOT work. Your directory will look something like this and buttons won't work when you press it.

    C:\Users\John Smith\Dropbox\Phones\Amaze_All-In-One_Kit_V2.4

If you have 2 words, put the folder in Drive C:

Ex. This will solve any issues if the buttons don't work when you press them.

    C:\Amaze_All-In-One_Kit_V2.4

Looking to add in the future

    FAQs

Q - Why Did you make this?
A - To make life easier

Q - You are limited on features. Why?
A- You can always make a request!

Q - Will this work on other devices?
A - Only the fastboot commands, HTC Dev unlock (device specific) and the HTC drivers. Toolkit is made for the specific device.

Q - Will you support more devices in the future?
A - If people REALLY want, I can make it happen. I just don't want to make anything that nobody would use.

    Q - Awesome! Can I make a donation?
A - Of course! Do not feel obligated though. If you would like to make a donation, you can click the button on my toolkit or under my username.
