Beautiful stock MIUI - Now with Tytung R7 kernel.

- All in one English build, no need for language packs

- No apps removed, translations applied to existing apps.

- No ugly splash screens.

- Fast, stable, long battery.

Use standard 150MB clockwork mod.


Instructions:

Download, copy to SD, boot to clockwork recovery, wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, install zip from SD. Reboot.

Once MIUI has booted you will see some Chinese, let the SD card mount. Then reboot to let language pack refresh to English.

What works - Everything so far

If you are having WIFI issues with WPA please try flashing this kernel http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=538101&d=1299707135 via CWM (Wipe CACHE and DALVIK CACHE first - not data).

Notes:

There may be one folder on the desktop is in chinese, rename it to the English "tools".

If you still see chinese after a reboot - you probably have not wiped data / cache / dalvik cache in CWM before flashing. So repeat - or follow shortcut here- http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=11687473&postcount=33

Might have to give this a try, been toying with trying a stock MIUI for while.

it is possible to create/use a partition ext3/4 (app2sd+ / data2ext) ? i need more than 200mb :eek:

Yes, make 2000 the same stocks miui rom... what is different with other stock ? I mean stock by jan-willem3 ?

This is an all in one ENG build, it will of course be very similar to those by JW, the more chefs, the more likely a rom will be out quickly.

I created this because it seemed there were delays between the MIUI chinese releases and solid stock roms in english being out.

I also couldn't handle the splash screens on some roms, hence a cleaner more stock rom from me.

    If you getting the Chinese like I did, just go to the Settings Icon, click on the Monitor looking icon (3rd from left), scroll down a bit till you see the keyboard icon then click it, click on the second (from top), and select the language English (Country), and click on the bottom left button.

    You'll get the English in everything except the Folder that is still in Chinese, just rename it and you got it.

    Hope that helps :)

    BTW, I don't read Chinese either lol, I had to use my other MIUI HD2 to see the English translation.
