Yes, it uses the same driver and firmware as my WinTV-NOVA-T stick: dvb-usb-dib0700.ko

Just a quick status update. I have big problems to get my Piranha to work on the A70IT. It is simply not recognized when I plug it in. Could it be the stick draws too much power from the USB port? Will try to get some more technical data on the stick. I have to buy a powered USB hub and then give it an other go. Will keep you informed asap.

@andbroe as I don't know how much power the A70IT can deliver, there might be a power issue. Please test it with a powered usb hub and report back Thank you.

I couldn't try because I haven't got an ATSC stick. But I think, as the atsc stick drivers are based on the same dvb driver stack as the dvb-t,c,s drivers it should work too. just use "azap" instead of "tzap" and if you miss a driver, tell me which one you miss or/and which device you use and I'll include it

With the lastest UrukDroid I was able to load the cinergy driver. But the wscan command could not find my dvbt-stick. Not sure, why. Probably the dmesg helps?

the device driver seems to be loaded correctly but there seem to be another issue: you don't need the cinergyT2 driver

Buggers... thanks for clearing this up, chulri. No I haven't used it with Linux because before Android I didn't use Linux at all. I'm an all windows Person despite being IT and having to deal with all sorts of Operating Systems. Computer Games are to blame , you have to stick to Windows or buy a Video Console (which I own too, but cannot run 3D as easy as on the PC). But that's another Story.

DVB on Archos isn't so much of a Requirement for me even though it would be nice, hence I'd like to contribute to the Development and thus am willing to buy one which is not owned by other Testers.

Is there a List of USB TV DVB Sticks which are definately supported by Linux, so there is a chance to get it running on the Archos?
