Simply unzip the contents of the attachment and double-click on "device_info.bat" while your phone is connected to ActiveSync.

In a few seconds you'll have the info at your finger tips. Please let me know if it works for you; it worked for my two different models of Elfins.

i guess this works for everyone but me so far. this is the text i get in the DOS window.

CopyTFFSToFile(0x20c, 0x8, cid.txt)
CopyTFFSToFile(0x2ad, 0x9, deviceid.txt)
CID is:
DEVICE ID is:
E
Press any key to continue . . .

what am i doing wrong..

I have the same output too!
Is it because we're trying to find our DID&CID
while we have a CID unlocked device and using a custom ROM!
Otherwise there is something that needs looking into it!
Added this thread in the rollUP Sticky (that nobody reads) too!
Regards!

So the fact that the device is CID_Unlocked&running custom_ROM has nothing to do with the empty output...hmm!
I tried it after a soft reset too, but that didn't make any difference!
I'll change something in the bat file & try again!
This has to work for everyone!
It's a really cool tool!

Hmm. Are you guys using Windows Vista? I am not sure why. I have CID unlocked devices and they were fine in XP.

Nice to see it's working for others
