Same question: does/will native 3G Video call work on this ROM?

I think it would be the FIRST ICS ROM supporting it...

External SD will mount under sdcard/external_sd since this is a Samsung ROM.

Google apps and phone status force close due to wifi mac issue. Turn on wifi atleast once to fix it.

Thanks for the info. But still external card not detected on pc. Everything else is working. For the camera and hd video I can use third party apps.

Here's the modded CM9 camera.apk for SGS2 look.
Just press thanks if you like it Also I would be glad if you add it to the ROM.

tried flashing the latest but it immediately rebooted after I selected the instal and now its stuck in the cyanogen bootscreen and cant get into cwm

It's normal if you're coming from a non-ICS ROM. Simply remove the battery, replace it and reboot into recovery. Then flash the ROM again

Yeah I know about that trick but it wasn't working. Anyway I just flashed to stock and redownloaded the rom and tried with semaphore this time and it worked, just needed to do the trick you mentioned to get into cwm. Will report back after using the rom. Thanks!

Looks like signal icon is allways full regardless of the actual signal strenght. Something to do with RIL implementation no doubt.

Also in about phone-status it shows signal strength 0 dBm 97 asu always.

Here is my report about this ROM ([Pre-Alpha v3][04-3-12]). First of all, it's absolutely great and worth trying!

No FC's so far, pretty stable, all Apps are working.

But here's my personal Bug-list:

-Opening/Closing programs slows the system down (lags)
-After waking the phone, it sometimes slows down, too
-Contacts and Dialer need long to start
-GPS is not working
-Can't send mails via Samsung e-Mail client (Push)
- Emai-Client takes long to open.
-Videorecording isn't working
-Videoplayback isn't working
-(It's maybe too early to say, but I get the impression, that this rom consumes a little bit more battery then other ICS ROMs – I'll post about this in the next few days again – but it has no Android OS drain bug)
-Vibra isn't working at all.
-Automated time-synchronization with my provider isn't working.
-Samsung account-sync seems to be without functionallity (the refresh-button in the options menu stays grey)
-When the Display darkens, you can see a green tint.
- Browser is a little bit slow
- Gyroscope isn´t working
-I haven't tested the Video-Call option
-Google voice typing doesn´t recognize what I say (always "no machtes found" error)
- VoIP: Skype installs, Video is working great but the microphone isn´t working
-Signalstrenght seems to be always full
-Face unlock isn´t working
-Radio app starts, but isn´t working

So far, this is all I have found out.

What works:
-Facebooksync works (after installing the App)
-You can import contacts from your SIM-Card
-All Samsung Apps work (Social Hub, Market, Games Hub, Readers Hub etc.)
- No Wifi and 3g problems at all (The speed is great!)
-WiFi Tethering (Hotspot) is working
-USB tethering is working
-2g is working
- USB Mass storage is working
- Microsoft exchange works just fine
- MP3 Player works fine
- All Apps seem to work
- Samsung keyboard with all dictionaries is working just fine.
-Bluetooth seems to work (but not tested)
- Call quality is very good
- Android Market seems to work just fine
-WiFi direct
-Calendar sync is working
- and everything else

Browser is veeery slow and voice recording doesnt work for me (even with market app) and signal is always full

It´s multilanguage. Which language do you need?

when the sgs3 is released, would you make a port of that software too?

wifi...ok
3g data...ok
camera...ok
market ...ok
samsung market...ok
call , sms,...ok
ext sdcard is working and scanned correctly from within device...but not mounted under computer
no fc
HOWEVER
video call , playback,recording...not working
RADIO FM not working
much ram consuming rom..on standby about 280 mg are used
OVERALL...the rom is very slow in every thing...for me it is better to consider treating the slowness befor video and camera

edit also DLNA is working
