BTW, I was using this ROM to debug an issue with a different one, but I couldn't get it to install successfully. I gave it about 3 tries and did a clean install on the second two, but it stopped at the same place each time:

That looks like you're on GPE partitions instead of Sense. Did you convert? If so, that's not an issue with the ROM installer.

Or that. I always forget about that one..

On another note, I posted this a few pages ago to no avail,

I looked through various bluetooth files but did not see anything I thought would be pertinent.

And I found the one for volume wake, but cannot find the bluetooth controls wake.
The volume is in device-keypad.kl

I looked through every single other one for a wake and only found another one for volume wake in gpio-keys.kl and one in projector-Keypad.kl and removing wake from those (all of the media options) still does not stop waking the device. It's driving me cray cray.

Is there another file somewhere that I am missing?

Nope, so that was probably the issue. I didn't even realize they used different partitions...

@digitalhigh: I don't see anything about partitioning in the instructions/FAQ in the initial posts - do you think you could add a few notes about what to do there?

The point is that you SHOULDN'T be changing the partitions to flash this ROM, which happens when doing the GPE conversion (which doesn't apply to this ROM). That's why there isn't anything about it in the OP.

That's a mod built into one of the framework files, I believe - maybe android.policy.jar. Also I think there's a file in system/etc/init.d related to it too.

Here are two Logcats I pulled trying to switch between Wifi 3g and LTE when my phone would not connect to LTE. Hopefully there is something in these that will help us narrow down what is happening. Please let me know if I can do something more to get a better logcat. Basically I started recording a logcat with Catlog and then switched my phone off of wifi and let it attempt to connect to lte and give me the exclamation point for a while. Then I also switched my phone's prefered network from 3G to LTE and let it attempt to connect to LTE for a bit.

I am on the newest 9/21 test build and I am having the exactly same data dropping issues I've been having on Sprint. When I go to an area of bad service it gets terrible and will require a reboot every hour or two. I basically just have to switch over to 3g and leave it there until I know I'll be in a good lte area and have time to erase my telephony database files and reboot my phone.

I hope this helps!

For the past 24 hours or so I haven't been able to get any mms. SMS has been coming through. I uninstalled Google messenger. Installed some 3rd party ones. Still nothing. Then out of no where, not even touching the phone all the images from some of the different test phones i used showed up. I know there were some apn/mms posts, but I wasn't able to find an answer. I have had the latest 09/18 from DH for over a week now and mms was working fine until just now. Any ideas? Sorry I don't have anything else specific or a logcat :/

I tried everything to get rid of the some symlinks failed error, and I'm not able to.
I spent a good part of the last two days trying to get this to work with no avail, I always end up with "some symlinks failed" after the kernel is installed (in the installer log).

Here's where I started and what I tried:

GPE 5.1 firmware, with an older DH build and the newest version of TWRP (tried a clean flash, with multiple configurations, some symlinks failed) ----> tried to use an old version of phliztouch (couldn't even access the sd card) --------> Used an RUU to go back to 5.0.1 and tried flashing with TWRP (some symlinks failed) -------> Flashed the 4.18.720.8 firmware, did a factory reset from stock recovery, full format from TWRP, reboot into recovery, then tried flashing the ROM (same ****ing error).

I don't even know what's left to try. I verified the MD5 and its correct, so the download is not corrupt. Please help me, anyone, I already lost a ton of sleep trying to fix this, and I'm really busy with my school work I don't have all of the time in the world to fix this.

P.S. Even if you can't help me, if you were able to flash the 9/17 build and get it to work, please tell me what firmware are you on, and what recovery did you use, and what did you choose in the installer anything is appreciated.
