lol I really want to update but like someone pointed out, and P3Droid states theirs a new bootloader. He says it could or couldn't be trouble. I'm hoping we can at least pre-root this but then again, if SBF doesn't work that's a pretty big deal no?

Its only a big deal because 2nd-init doesn't work on gingerbread yet. And there is some progress being made with CM4DX2.

Installed the update.zip listed in this thread. First error'd out, status 7.

Had to SBF back to stock because I had deleted amazonmp3.apk instead of freezing it like the other debloated apps. Then installed fine and works great.

Be Completely Bone Stock, Rename It To Update.zip Not Update.zip.zip.

Then Head Into The Stock Recovery And Apply Update.zip.

Well u know this thing has sd and ext-sd.. its Ext-SD it has to be in, i had it in SD.

If You're Playing With This Common Sense Would Tell You That Your SD Card Is -ext. Makes Sense To Me.

Well i got first boot coming up, so im gonna take it in bed and load my apps and exchange and all that on it.. Cant thank ya enough for the help Mike. Btw my aunt and uncle have house in CT (Candlewood Lake)..

Installing now..the excitement is killing me (not much exciting happening here in nh). Back to my previous question, has anybody tried gingerbreak yet? I can't imagine it could screw anything up, just either works or not, right?
