Exactly. Even if the benchmarks are higher in ART, the menu's smoothness seems better in dalvik for me..

Antutu is not affected by ART. Only quadrant is. In my usage experience I find art snappier and smoother over dalvik hands down.

ART overall performance is smoother. Saying that menus are smooth on Dalvik is a big LOL.
I have my phone running art since cm11 came out and I tell you one thing. I'm never going back to dalvik. Finally I feel that android is as smooth as IOS.
Still haven't found an app that I need that doesn't work and if I was to think like that I would still be running jelly bean because NFS most wanted doesnt work on kitkat.
Anyway that's just my personal experience. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa

stupid nfs isn't working on our phone since 4.2.2 if i recall correctly. lucky for me, asphalt 8 >>> nfs mw

Worked fine in cm 10.1.3 stable
Not a big fan of asphault series and now with cars doing flips and stunts it's even worse. Graphics looks great on 8 but it's just to arcade for my personal taste.
GT racing 2 and real racing 3 both work in kitkat with art enabled

Are you talking about antutu benchmark ?
Or did you overclocked your p880 to +2.0 gHz ?

If yours 4X HD is not rooted, you need to download Android SDK. When turn on USB debugging (Settings>Developer options), go to c:\android>tools>ddms.bat. When press Device and Screen Capture. Vualia.1Humm... mine is rooted but I get a little confused. The procedure is the same for both situations?
