does the sgr meets requirement of nfc? after a ics update will it get a nfc support or its a hardware thing which sgr lacks?
Sadly no. We won't be getting NFC through a software update. It needs a special antennae which the SGR lacks.

Galaxy S2 has the NFC transmitter antenna within the battery itself. Galaxy R doesn't have such a battery(hardware) so no chance of it getting NFC through a software update.
TBH NFC doesn't have much use in India as we can't use it for monetary transactions. Inclusion of NFC in handsets isn't wide spread so we can't use it for initiating data transfers even if we have it.
Could anybody please post a detailed tutorial how to use the Auto Bloat Remover found in the DEV-Section? I would love to debloat but i can't get it to work. Phone doesn't reboot into recovery, it just shuts down and i see the battery icon. Phone is connected in debugmode. When i try adb logcat in cmd it works fine. So i have not a clue...
I shut down phone, start recovery by holding home+power up. After that i connect to PC via USB. I start debload.exe, phone reboots again into cwm. After "hit any key" it says:
mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 on /system failed: device or resource busy

Uninstall then install
This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?
Just clearing the app data will do the trick buddy. No need to do all that.

To disable the camera sound, there's a few things you can do.
1. This one is kinda annoying but if the sound annoys you more, you could just put your phone on silent or hold the volume down button until the volume is off. The camera shutter sound shouldn't be heard.
2. Download an alternate camera application. Eg. LGCamera.
3. Wait for the CyanogenMod 7 rom. That has the option to disable the sound in it's settings.

The adb tool has moved to platform-tools.
If you don't see this directory in your SDK, launch the SDK (execute the android tool) and install "Android SDK Platform-tools"
Please also update your PATH environment variable to include the platform-tools/ directory, so you can execute adb from any location.

I'll add it to the OP.
But if you really want it you should request a dev of Paranoid ROMs to port it for our device too & that you'll be ready to test the alpha builds to help remove the bugs & you never know he may say yes to porting it for our device.
Cheers !
