Usage:
So I've been using the device since the update for some time battery life has seemed to improve slightly, I have very heavy usage I'm gaming all the time since I'm fasting lol. They've improved the animations aswell. In my opinion I'd actually class this an update that has made a difference to my phone(for once).

It also now includes the update for knox 2.0 (can't take screen shot drm protected image) looks much refined than before.

I'll post battery usage near when I'm about to run out of the juice

Thank you for your answers, I sould have asked for a no root solutions, as 4.3 was. Thank you anyway.. Love the fact Samsung scrapped features after buying the phone..

does not work the same we have to wait for the entire firmware

Read the question. You can either download the old firmware and try OTA or wait for sammobile firmware

Software update service not available

Is anyone else getting this message when checking for updates:
"The Software update service is not available. Maximum number of roll-out updates has been exceeded. Try later or update your device using Samsung Kies"

Been getting this for 2 days now, update isn't on Kies yet.
Current firmware is ND3 on a UK BTU device

    ONLY KIES updates will be shown in sammobile not OTA, once it's available for kies it will com on sammobile.

    Apparently they have their own kids version of a drawing pad in the kids mode if im not mistaken my man.. She can use that (unless she is too old...)

    For anyone with issues with external card (deleting, copying, modifying stuff) you need to do the following:

    - Use a root browser (i recommend root explorer)
    - Go to system/etc/permissions and find a file called "Platform.xml"
    - Open the file. Find:

    Code: 
    <permission name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
        <group gid="sdcard_r" />
        <group gid="sdcard_rw" />

    Right below that, add: <group gid="media_rw" />

    So it becomes:

    Code: 
    <permission name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
        <group gid="sdcard_r" />
        <group gid="sdcard_rw" />
	<group gid="media_rw" />



    Alternatively, you can flash the fixed paltform.xml from HERE

    Download booster is designed to work with LTE, maybe some developer can come out with patch to enable with all type of data networks. works well for me with LTE
