Thx for this ROM,
I like as close to stock as possible.
It had a hard time until I figured out that you put a radio file in it.
That's right Adam was able to add on this update to the Rom release: http://www.droid-life.com/2013/07/0...-1-fixes-bugs-includes-google-security-patch/
But don't worry everyone's boot loader will remain the same and stay rooted. Phones will stay boot loader unlocked if it already has been performed.

Using TWRP 2.6.3.0, did a factory reset wipe, then made sure that /system was checked under "mount".
Hit install, had the zip on the external SD (tried internal too), it just fails, every time. - "Error executing updater binary in zip"
Any ideas?

Try putting file into root of SD card or internal storage. Before performing the full wipe make sure system is mounted as well. And double check system is mounted before flashing. If coming from another Rom make sure it was 4.1.2.
If previous Rom was higher than 4.1.2 then flash this before Nexesque: http://d-h.st/5EV

It's working fine, which is what I needed, instead of the newest non-stock builds which have issues for me (such as SMS totally not working).
It's probably the cleanest and best option for the RAZR HD for now.
I also installed Xposed Framework and the GravityBox module to get more fun tools, so I can make my navigation buttons smaller. That works perfectly.
Another thing which I'm a personal fan of, is changing the DPI, I used textdroider_dpi from the Play Store, that worked fine with this ROM too.
Only minor thing I wish was different was the lock screen. I wonder if there are flashable lock screens that would work to replace it? I always liked being able customise the shortcuts like on CM or Sense.

I really appreciate the review of the Rom. That's exactly my thoughts after running Nexesque from the beginning and it has only gotten better with each release.
I have a favor to ask, do you think you can do a step by step instruction for the Exposed Framework and Gravity Box module? And what is the DPI settings that ended up working with this ROM? I'm thinking of adding it to post#2 and crediting you for it of course.

GravityBox is here: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ceco.gm2.gravitybox - there's a link to the APK, currently 2.6.9
Just download them both, install the first framework APK first.. then open it. Choose the "Framework" option at the top. Press "Install/Update". It will need a reboot after.
Then install the GravityBox APK.
In your app drawer, go into "Xposed Installer", you'll be back at the same screen as before, press on "Modules", and check "GravityBox". I think it may even need a reboot again, I don't remember.
From there, just go into GravityBox in your app drawer, it has a few good tweaks - the main reason I got this one is because I can make the Navigation Bar smaller so I have more screen space, you can show the menu key etc..

I'm currently running at 240 and I've had no market issues, but some apps will think you're on a tablet, so it can look odd. It seems to Only give me EDGE speeds, no matter which Network type I choose.
If the phone is meant for Verizon then LTE speeds is likely only on that network.

Wow, the APK provided by hallokitty definitely worked. Looks alot more professional and now I will have less likely chance to accidentally touch the Navigation Bar.

Loving this ROM, came from RageHD, but would get laggy from time to time, and I was about to sell the phone for a MotoX or HTC One. This one is butter smooth and I'm quite happy with the phone again. Battery life is a bit better too, after about 16 hours off the charger yesterday I had 45% left with 3hr 20min screen time. :good:

** Disclaimer, this is something I am posting here from the www.droidrzr.com forum with direct authorization from the OP to also alert everyone on XDA Developers and the direct download link to the Rom. Ive flashed soo many different Roms and this works the best and in my opinion is the most fast, stable and Force Close free. Battery life is one of the best I've seen for any phone as well. So, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a real developer, but I have spent quite a bit of time reading the INTERNET. This is a stock-based RAZR HD ROM that I have themed and debloated to be as close to a stock nexus experience as possible (hence the 'nexesque' name). I basically like things to be clean, unintrusive, and stable.
DISCLAIMER: I built this rom for my own personal use and I’m posting it on here for you to try. Blah blah blah, if you brick your device it’s your own damn fault.

So, I have a pretty cool announcement to make!
This rom started out as nothing more than me wanting a stock-based rom with all the bloat removed. I took a stock-deodexed rom from vtwinbmx and just experimented with removing different apps to see what happened (I had no idea what I was doing). I was happy that I had cleaned up the bloat from the rom, but I was still unsatisfied with the rom. I'm really into the stock look of android, as many of us are, so I started replacing app and system icons with google icons. Still unsatisfied, I started to photoshop the .png files inside apps that couldn't be replaced with aosp apps (due to my own technical limitations) to try and make the apps look more like aosp. I soon found myself chasing the dragon of rom development, but I hit a wall because modifying apps isn't always as easy as swapping out image files. I started to learn how to decompile and recompile apps so that I could modify the messaging app and system framework. I could probably spend a lot more time researching android development and doing more complicated modifications, but I decided to avoid that rabbit hole due to schoolwork and whatnot. I decided, instead, to focus on keeping the rom simple and without frills for the purpose of maintaining stability. Apparently quite a few people appreciated that philosophy and rather than flashing the rom and running off, many of you have reported bugs and have made valuable suggestions for improving the rom. I wouldn't have had the motivation to maintain Nexesque if it wasn't for everyone's feedback and the incessant prodding for rom updates *joke. Developing the Nexesque rom and maintaining this forum thread have been infinitely more enjoyable than I had imagined when I started and I'm glad you all have been here to test and help out. Ok, ok, that's enough of that...
As I didn't want to leave you all high and dry after my move to the Nexus 5, I mentioned that I would be more than welcoming to anyone who was willing to take over development of the Nexesque rom. I received a message from jp1044, who expressed interest in maintaining the rom after my departure. I am very grateful that someone stepped up to the plate and I hope that you will all welcome him as the new main developer for the Nexesque rom. He is the founder of Team LiteSpeed, who developed the FlyingJelly roms for the og razr, bionic, razr m, and razr hd. I am more than certain that he is an adequate replacement for me on the Nexesque rom and will probably add more to the rom than I ever could.

I hope to carry this ROM into the RAZR HD 4.4 era. Again, thanks to adamjmtz for allowing me to take over development and I look forward to developing this.
