Is there anybody here from Hungary, who has the ability to change the display? I am totally inexpert in soldering such a tiny things....

Helló, Ha sikerül vennünk valahonnan kijelzőt, én gond nélkül be tudom majd építeni neked.

As it seems RitDisplay oleds with SSD1300 driver chip are discontinued products, we should try to find other possibilities.

Have anybody tried Visionox VGM096016A0B01 (M00101) or VGM096016A0W01 (M00100)?

They both have SSD1308TR1 driver chip instead of SSD1300, but 31 pin 6800/8080 8 bit interface.

Meanwhile I realized, that Visionox VGM096016A0B01 (M00101) is the same as OLED-PM084MB...

And Cyberdyne wrote earlier:

Just for the record: The OLED-PM084MB is not compatible!

I managed to get contact with Wendy Gao quoted earlier.

Does anybody do real business with him?

He gave me a deal for:
RGC08096016WW002 RITDI bit 0.84" 06+ 13.5$/PCS 10PCS + 40$ shipping cost.

This is 175 bucks for 10 pcs of oled, but with direct fund transfer towards China, which is insecure (They have no paypal acc)

And I wonder...
RGC08096016WW002 has SSD1300 driver according its datasheet , but its not 100% it will work in MBW 150
Additionally it seems too risky to send money with direct fund transfer to china...

I have mailed Jotrin electronics in Hong Kong, as they still have RGS08096016BW001 listed. Will check with them for availability and price (or possible alternatives). Don't know whether anyone else has tried them so far. They might not even answer though!

You guys are the best...I love XDA forums and I admire everyone's spirit here trying to bring this MBW-150 back to life. I loved my MBW-150 Executive...gave me the basic functionality of a smartwatch without losing the "jewelry" aspect. But I think I'm ready to throw in the towel. Been hanging on to mine all this time, faded display. If anyone is interested for "experimentation" purposes or parts / watch band, my wife put it on eBay for me. I haven't worn it for years, but I just don't have the time or patience to try to swap the display out myself, and I'd probably break it anyway. Link below:

I hope it goes to a good home...and I wish you guys the best of luck bringing this fabulous, unique, and overlooked timepiece back to life!

I do not think looking for the OLED is the solution at this moment after the displays have been long gone out of production. Why don't we think of modifying the firmware so that we can install a newer model OLED display in the watch?
This has been done before on some paint ball gun as i've read in some of the applicable forums which used the same SSD1300T I2C driver and the firmware was modified so as to use the new OLED displays.
Why don't we look for this option? Can the watch firmware not be accessed by any means and modified by anyone in this expert community?

All the MBW watches have 4 pins on the back, 2 of which are used while charging. I'm quite sure that the other 2 definitely is for some purpose. Can anyone with good knowledge about bluetooth (system on chip) SOC boards chime in on this? How do we access the internal chip firmware? I can give the details of the chip if required. I guess its a philips BGB203 SOC.
