For those of us struggling with the widgets I found a work around. First push a working S5 settings apk to your phone, set the widgets, then flash this mod after they're all set. You'll have all the mods and be able to add widgets to a 3rd party launcher again

Just to make sure,
You saying if at least 1 widget on screen before you flash the mod,
All additional widget addition will work after s5 mod in place ?

Yes. I'm on the Sammy deluxe ROM which won't allow me to add widgets because it includes this mod. So I pushed a working SecSettings apk, added all the widgets I wanted, then flashed this mod to test. Now I'm able to add widgets again and still have the mods.

Not sure if that still makes sense.

Yes, I think I understand, but sounds really strange...
Even though SecSettings got replaced back again with newer apk, widget add/remove function continues to work just because some widgets were in place before the mod were installed?
Does that sums it up?
Will try to test...

Not 100% positive that placing widgets on the working ask makes a difference, but it definitely works after replacing the SecSettings then re flashing. Don't know why but it has been for me.

Try this install total recal from play store (free version) .. start it ... when it asks you to install root section press yes ... reboot ... After a min to allow media scanner to run then make a call press record .. un-install total recall should be fixed ...

Just used older settings apk, backed up, s5 mod settings, then replaced back

Found solution, replaced SecMediaProvider.apk
Problem solved
Just doesn't save recordings automatically in case you hang up while recording

    Important Notes

    • This mod is working on I9505 only at the moment!
    • This mod deletes your current settings preferences(volume, display, brightness etc.). So make sure you remember your prefrences.
    • Download booster may not work on your career - It works only with LTE and Wifi and only for files that weight more than 30MB.
    • SView Fix is only a temp fix. Now you can answer and reject. The only problem is that the buttons are too big. @_alex74_ will fix it on his own time.
    • After disabling Ultra Power saving mod you will see a message form Xposed(If you use it... if not then ignore this note) : The module has not activated. Just reboot and it will disappear. It happnes in S5 too, not a bug.
    • This mod was tested on:
      - Clean Deodexed XXUGNF1 - Fully working
      - Omega V34 - Fully Working
      - Echoe V27 - Works but some bugs were found
      - PhoeniX V8 - Fully Working
      - PhoeniX V9 - Fully Working, but V9 Has more S5 features, so it is not recommended to flash over v9.
    • All bugs should be fixed now. If you have other bugs, post them only if you attach logcat. Otherwise, we can not help you.
    • I am not going to support other ROMs. This mod was built to work on clean stock ROM. If you want Full S5 Experience, use PhoeniX ROM V9.4.
    • This mod replaces alot of system apps and frameworks, so if you use it on custom ROM, some features of your ROM might not work.
    • If you find a bug, don't reply with "XXX is not working". Explain what caused this bug(how it happned - what you pressed) , which ROM you are using and if you can Logcat.
    • I'm not responsible for any damaged caused by using this mod. I give testers the mod before I publish it so you shuoldn't have any problems :)
    • Do Not Publish Any Mirror For this Mod!
    • Make Sure you have SELinux Permissive! Otherwise you might get FCs.

    Installation Instructions

    1. Make sure you have backup of everything(nandroid, titanium, etc.)
    2. Copy the mod to your phone.
    3. Reboot to recovery - PhilZ is preferred.
    4. Flash the mod.
    5. Reboot.

    For people who are curious to know what I am doing at these days:
    - Re-porting UPSM & Toolbox for NF1 base & for phoenix rom, plus improving code behavior and improve performance.
    - Studying for Physics final test
    After I am done fixing & improving the port, it will be easy enough to post for I9500.
    I am not playing, I am doing my best so you will enjoy your device with s5 features like you deserve to have.
    Samsung, not like HTC that gave Extreme power saving mode plus new sense to old HTC, doesn't give old devices new features, and this the work of XDA devs here to make you happy.
