stay stock kernel for now...check your wakelocks...post them here..flash another kernel custom one and then post your wakelocks here...then i can compare and see whats wrong my friend:highfive:
Mate, I'm on xm kernel 106 now, how do I go back to stock. I'm a noob in terms of flashing on the one X
Also do you know how to disable sleep2wake. I did it on trickster mod but I think it resets on reboot, I'm not too sure

Hi goku, do you suggest using htc mail app instead of gmail app?? Saves battery?

Goku, take look at these pictures, please.
F@#$%&ing Media server kept my phone awake for the whole night! Didn't happen the night before.
How to avoid this?

was you looking at videos or music videos on browser?
anyways have a read here as well..
http://forums.androidcentral.com/go...iaserver-why-draining-my-battery-so-much.html
I played music while working out for about an hour. But, it kept waking the phone overnight, too. Going to read the link now.
Too late, I already read it.no need to....that is your wakelock....if you played music that is fine it will just calculate the amount of time you was listening to music through a player...what i always suggest though is when you always finish listening to music make sure you kill the app....sometimes when i am on a hurry and i listen to spotify i just press the power button to make the screen off and the player is still in the background..does not eat the battery but still it calculates it as it thinks it is still playing..
hope that makes sense

I'm not sure I got you this time. Look, I was listening to the stock music player for an hour, and the wakelock was on for almost 11 hours!
Plus, during the night I usually lose some 3-4-5% of the battery, and this morning I was shockd to see that in some 8 hours it lost 12-13%.
Just for my understanding, and for the future, what is the cure for this?
- Not playing music and enjoying awesome sound by Zero?
- Shoot my 9mm to the music app (now when mwilky disabled Task Manager)?
- Something that makes more sense?
:silly::fingers-crossed:
Morning all,
Im struggling with AudioOut_4.
Searching around there doesnt appear to be much around on this one, does anyone else have this or know what its caused by etc.
Thanks
Andy
#include <linux/wakelock.h>
void wake_lock(struct wake_lock *lock);
void wake_lock_timeout(struct wake_lock *lock, long timeout);
void wake_unlock(struct wake_lock *lock);
AudioOut_4 seems to be different. At least on my phone, it occurs when I leave a game, say NFSMW without actually killing it then turning the screen off.
