I use the 0313 bb + ril. It gives me good signal and battery life.

V20q bb from 1st post is also very good (nearly the same results as 0313 bb), but I like newer dates in the phone info. :p

I worked out how to and installed v20q and your tweak pack a couple of days ago, makes my phone ever better to use, well done. I suppose you could call me an intermediate user. It took me a while to work out how to get it all installed, My phone was running V20e with 725 baseband. It's a terrible rom when left stock but can be fixed. Your rom and tweak pack is far superior. from what i can tell according to this forum http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1658047 , 725 is the stock baseband, your baseband looks like 795? I'm still using the 725 baseband and it seems to work ok so not going to change, as a suggestion and i know a lot of you will know, but could you move the download link for V20q to the top of the post and explain that clockworkmod is the program to use to install it, i'm guessing to change the baseband that you have to use smartflash? fantastic work with the work you have done and thanks again

Camera settings reset

Been using this rom with tweak pack v3 + HP SR3 kernel for a while and im very satisfied with speed, stability and battery life! One thing that bugs me however is that the camera settings revert back to defaults everytime the camera app is closed or phone is rebooted (i.e: if i put the flash off it will always come to back to auto).

Is this specific to this ROM or related to the tweak pack? If yes any workaround to save camera settings?

This issue exists in all stock and stock-based roms. The camera doesn't save every option. It saves settings like resolution and quality, but doesn't save settings like the flash.

I don't think there's a workaround. It's forced by LG. ;)

    I made a rebuild of the official V20q Gingerbread Update. Install it in the CWM.

    V20q Tweak Pack V3

    Here's a tweak pack by me for this firmware.

    Install it in CWM, wiping Dalvik Cache is not needed, the pack does it.;)


    Features:
    • one version with complete Fast Dormancy deactivation (thanks to gueste;))
    • stopped "set apntype:deafult" logging (in both versions)
    • Camera Mod with 1080p@30fps and higher bitrates
    • LG Updater and On Screen Phone will be removed
    • Settings app without OSP menu and updater ("20MB Ram Hack")
    --> better battery life!
    • patched SQLite libraries for better performance and higher benchmarks
    • My Battery Mod with the following features:

    - Circle Battery % Icons
    - Better color transition and blue icons in status bar
    - CRT screen off effect
    - clock fix in status bar
    - transparent expanded statusbar
    - a few little changes

    If you are sure, that your provider supports Fast Dormancy, install first version. If your provider doesn't support FD, the second version is better for the battery life.
