workin pretty well so far, just sort of froze up when trying a titanium backup.

request: do you think you could include the task manager thats present in gingerclone and GOv2? its really useful in killing things sometimes that may be using too much memory or for whatever reason you'd want.

Actually, good idea, didn't think about that for some reason. Ill include it in version 3.5, thanks for the feedbac!

is still working pretty well for me, has frozen a few times trying to go to the home screen (i'm using 3.4, btw) but that may just be my phone acting **** like it has recently. its done it with every ROM i've installed so it might not be your ROM, but i figured i'd point it out anyways in case other people are having the same problem. If it gets bad enough, i could always just do another launcher.

otherwise its running great so far, got a 1530 on quadrant which is pretty damn solid. great work guys, i'll let you know if i find something else.

Thanks. Well I'm on 3.2 at the time of writing..and not freezing. Since I'm getting pretty good reviews, I'm going to flash 3.4 tonight, and release 3.5 tonight or early afternoon tomorrow.

Can we get a preview of what these changes may be?

Sent from my SGH-T839 using XDA

For the fact, some are unstable, no. I don't want to get anyone overly excited for a feature not included. I'm going to try my best to make sure it works though. Release is expected tomorrow night, Friday. But no features are promised, but some new things that are sure to work will be implemented tomorrow, such as the Task Manager from GOV2, Voodoo Sound control, and Tegrak. (This all I can promise as of now.)

Because of the sheer amount of downloads I got on GenericGinger 3.4 BETA alone, (204) in just one day, I've decided to release both a beta, and stable version of 3.5, read below to understand.

3.5 changelog...

*added task manager back from GOV2 (The original Samsung one)
*added Voodoo sound control (for added audio control)
*MAY switch launcher to LauncherPro or Faster Than Light (FTL) more testing is required [in v3.6]
*added Tegrak Overclock (for overclocking ASAP)
*added Swype Beta 3.26 (EXTREMELY BUGGY NEED TO TEST)

Please note : For this particular version, I have released 2 ROMS. One has Swype Beta 3.26, and one doesn't have Swype at all.

If you want to test the ROM with Swype Beta 3.26, go ahead and let us know if it works and has the orange tracing line. If it crashes and is NOT stable, simply just download and flash the 3.5 ROM WITHOUT the Swype.

Thanks, I keep forgetting the blasted version number. Meh, small price to pay for a good ROM I guess (according to everyone elses feedback) thanks for the feedback and words of encouragement.

By the way...for 3.6 other changelog fixes, I think I'm going to replace Launcher2.apk with Faster Than Light (FTL) is more Gingerbread like, and to me is being a lot more smoother.

Considering that I bought the full version of LPro, I will have to flash that over whatever launcher comes with the latest build.

I don't like having a bunch of paid for apps, and I can only use one. :\

If you extract the Pro .apk, I'll make a ROM specifically with the launcher for people who have it. The thing is, I have money, but I don't have a credit card.

Three small issues I have.

In version 3.5, wallpapers are not changing correctly.

On sidekick lock screen, can the clock color be changed? It's difficult to see the time at times.

Can you find/add the asop news/weather app.

Thanks for the news, formatting the user data between versions is out of my control though, I usually make a backup and completely format before flashing anyways, gurantees almost perfect usage.

Edit : Can't fix the Tegrak force close problem, so Ill remove it in version 3.6, thanks.

I saw this got ignored so i wanted to repost.. Or is it possible to add a theme like scarlet's leftovers to it?

Not ignored, I'm going to try to learn how. But I'm not confident with that yet.

BTW, didn't know there was an Android voice, didn't make any sounds for me.
