I just used the new download and made a nandroid of a 4.3 rom but when I went to restore it does not restore the backup completely. It restored it like it was a fresh install. I used compression and maybe that is why it failed?

According to the log your data backup had nothing in it. Do you have the corresponding backup log? It should be in the backup directory.
Let me look. Would that be in the twrp folder?
I've been looking at the file sizes and I've noticed that the bad backup is about 600mb less. Maybe I unchecked data by mistake ?

It wouldn't of created the tar for data if you had unselected data in the backup screen. It should be in the backup directory under TWRP.
Is there a way, to turn off the Auto Generate - for the backups? I looked in Settings - I checked to see if Long Press on the backup name would do it - At the moment, the only thing that I can see - is that you have to delete the Auto Generated backup name with the backspace key.....

yeah, I just do the same thing..its one of the new "features" that I dont really care for...
Maybe we can add a setting. Can you add this as a feature request at our bug tracker?
Be happy to - Just trying to find where the bug tracker is - Is it in the recovery itself - or on teamw. in?
Edit - I believe that you have to submit to Gerrit?
I'm looking into it. I'd also like to point out that the this NEW "Auto Complete" exists in all three of the devices which I have, t0lteatt, Skyrocket & Nexus 7 - but I can't comment on others.

I am running Scott Hart's Beanstalk ROM on an Infuse 4G. He recently switched the recovery from CWM to TWRP, but ever since he did I cannot get a backup. It gets to the data/data partition and fails. I noticed that this partition is not listed in the choices when starting a backup. Please help. Here is a link to a recent log.
