ROM install is fast because I switched to block based ROM which is new in 5.0 and a million times faster.

Sent from my Nexus 5

Hi Craig, I have a small favor to ask you. :D I've always liked your work and I've been porting your framework from Lollipopalooza for personal use to my N7 grouper. Aside from the very useful extras in your rom, it also allows for native OTG with a stock rom. No need for stickmount etc. and that's great stuff!

Unfortunately for me, with your latest build being block image, I can no longer do this. I was wondering if you could possibly upload some system folders for me? Specifically, app, priv-app and most importantly framework. I would greatly appreciate it if you could do this for me.

Anyway, your work is excellent and whatever you decide is fine with me. :) Thanks in advance.

EDIT: NVM, I found a method to get this done. Thanks.

Great ROM craigacgomez, thank you very much for keep working to the Nexus 10.

I only have had a little issue, not important anyway.
When I try to watch any Play Store demo video for any App it stars and suddenly stops.
But Youtube works well.

I don't know if it's my problem or a general one.

Building from source not working

Hello,

I tried to build great ROM linked in the Manifest at the startpost myself with Mint 17.1 and Xubuntu 12.04.1 and both times I encountered the same error after 5 min of compiling:
Code:
make: *** No rule for »out/target/product/manta/obj/STATIC_LIBRARIES/libminshacrypt_intermediates/export_includes«,
benötigt von »out/target/product/manta/obj/EXECUTABLES/vold_intermediates/import_includes«, zu erstellen. Stop.
Rastapop or the original AOSP compiles without problems.

By the way, I still have to add the three drivers binary for the Nexus 10 in the source root? /vendor/...

I'm having a lot of issues getting GAPPS installed on this ROM. I was originally trying to install the GAPPS in the original post with CWM and it kept failing with Status 7 (also stated that Symlinks Failed). I thought maybe it was the recovery, but am getting essentially the same error with TWRP. I can't seem to find any way around it...any suggestions?

Anyone else have tons of wifi drop outs? Even after a clean flash. I had to go back to CM11 because I couldn't find an old copy of Thunderkat anywhere.

Hi, I'm thinking about trying this rom, at the moment I'm on purity 4.4.4, in the requirement I read there is the need to be on last bootloader, as I didn't find information about the bootloader for 5.0 do any of you know if I have to look for a new bootloader before istalling or I'm I good to go?

Thanks

I'm unable to get latest GAPPS to flash with the 12/09 release. Symlinks error.. I've tried both latest clockwork and TWRP both with the same error, also attempted on/offing with system mounts but nothing seems to work.

I used the micro modular packet from here:http://xdaforums.com/paranoid-android/general/gapps-official-to-date-pa-google-apps-t2943900

After that, you can add the others back in.

I imagine the busybox mentioned in OP is in the GAPPS that don't work.

17. Added busybox
...

Should those of us using the PA micro pack get busybox through the play store? Any need to have default settings (centered navbar) before installing busybox if it's needed?

If I remember correctly, you do need to install it. I also had to flash supersu to get root.

I attempted to flash ThunderKat and got errors with TWRP. Switched to PhilZ and it worked without issue. If anyone is having problems with flashing the Lollipopalooza gapps in TWRP, give PhilZ recovery a try.

I'm also having some serious issues with gapps on this build. The ones in the OP give me symlink errors. The full PA package force closes all over the place. The micro modular package doesn't seem to have a keyboard, so I couldn't even get on wifi.

What am I missing here?

This is my very own personally maintained custom ROM for the Nexus 10 (manta) called Lollipopalooza!! It is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) 5.x based ROM with a simple aim... add a few useful features to AOSP without deviating too much.

    MInHon9.png

This will be a spin-off of my previous Nexus 10 ROM ThunderKat, but from scratch and obviously based on Android 5.x.

I don't expect this to compete with the big boys (CyanogenMod, AOKP, Paranoid Android and the like) and this ROM will have a considerably limited feature-set compared to them. If you want a lot of customisations and configurations, they are definitely the way to go.

Please note that since this is a fully de-odexed ROM, it will take a while to boot up the first time. Please follow the installation instructions carefully.

IMPORTANT: Since I no longer own this device, I have not tested this. In my opinion it should work just fine since I am using the same code-base for my Nexus 9 builds, but if you are not sure, wait for feedback from others who are brave enough to take the plunge.

Due to my limited availability, I will now no longer support builds older than 2015/05/23
