Look in the folder where you extracted flashtool, there should be a driver folder where you can install drivers. If that doesn't work, try the SE driver posted in a different dev thread posted a few days ago.

Here you`ll find SE Firmwares to install through flashtools.

I am from Malaysia.Just bought X8 2 weeks ago.
I have mistakenly deleted the setting file from the system folder in the root directory. Now the phone hanged at the SE Logo.
I have installed the Xrecovery and have successfully rooted the phone. It was working fine until i deleted the setting file
what should i do.Pls help.Thank you.
i already switch on the unknown source and debugging mode.
But i still get the error on the flasher.
what can i do now?
so are the drivers different for the versions i.e. 0.2.9 vs 0.2.9.1? Because .0.2.9 works just fine on my PC. So SEUS etc needs to be reinstalled each time a new version of flash tool is released?
strange.
try:
1. reboot pc and phone
2. uninstall / reinstall PCC and SEUS
3. install drivers from FlashTool_0.2.9.1-GBready_root_xRec\drivers
note: download Doom´s version of flashtool (xRecovery ready)
Cheers
i still getting the same error, where can i get the doom's version?
If your phone is not recognized by Flashtool that means you don’t have the required drivers installed.
- Open folder /Flashtool/drivers and install ggsetup-2.2.0.11
If after the above Flashtool still doesn’t recognize your phone, do the following:
- From Flashtool/drivers folder extract the zip file XXX_ADB_driver which corresponds to your phone model
- Open “Device manager” on the computer and find the device which is with an exclamation mark on it (do this with connected to the computer phone)
- Right click on the device and choose Uptade driver
- Choose to find the driver manually and browse to the folder where you’ve extracted the zip file.
- That should install the required drivers on your computer.
1. Unplug the USB cabel from the phone (you can leave it plugged in the PC)
2. Turn off the phone
3. Press and hold the "Back" button on the phone
4. Plug in the USB cabel in the phone
5. Release the "Back" button after the above screen disappers
