Wifi Draining Battery

Anyone have noticed this,when use wifi the battery go down fast than using 3G?
Its so strange
Do you have a good signal? When the WLAN adapter struggles to maintain a connection, it can eat up your battery. Similar case when the phone sees an open connection but you don't connect it, because it polls the access point constantly.
On my phone there is no suspicious battery drain. Could you please install Wifi Analyzer from the store, and check the signal strength chart? If there is a lot of other routers on the same channel as yours it can degrade the signal so in theory it can lead to battery drain. It can be solved by setting your router's wifi channel to a less crowded one.
