I'm going to give it a flash and see how things go. I'm a fan of FastTest, and lighter is normally better for me.

fyi need to flash this over 3.0.2 or 3.0.3. there is an issue with the setup wizard if you're coming off a fresh wipe. so far it's nice. something to flash til later or tomorrow anyways. lol!

Wiped everything (on an MT3G), flashed, unable to pass the Google sign in.

Either the username and password are not accepted, or when pressing skip you get a sign-in FC.

EDIT: I was dumb and straight flashed 3.0.2 -> 1.0. I didn't even think to use the setup wizard in 3.0.2 before flashing over. It's late, give me a break. :p

Installed quickly and easily. No problems whatsoever. Very nice looking. Will have to reinstall the JIT hack, but I anticipated that.

Great job Clay. Keep up the good work brother.

Ok so I have to no wipe flash this over 3.02,I could be wrong but isnt the whole idea of this rom to be a lite version and remove apps,but if I flash over another rom I'm gonna retain those apps and extra weight,I know I can uninstall them but it;s the principal,this rom should be self sufficiant,hope it gets fixed.

    Well, it was a good go, but I just can't seem to solve this. I followed your instructions, and when that didn't work, I flashed back to Android 1.0 and started over. I upped to hboot and radio with the 2708 kit, and didn't use any SPLs (DangerSPL is what I was using before). Still I got stuck on the "G1" boot screen.

    If you can think of anything else for me to try, I'd be happy to. Otherwise...

    The reason I wanted to try out this ROM is because it's the only ROM in the "Bible" that got 5 on all the measurements. The most important thing to me right now is battery life, in case I choose to use this as my main phone for a few days, then visuals after that, and speed is the third and final thing that matters to me. If you know of another ROM I should be trying, please let me know.

    Thanks again.

    I thing you are in the wrong spl... are 2708 roms work on your device? did you read ezterry 2708+ enabled kernel thread first? http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=831139
    I just flash it to check if works and is working for me, I'm on 2708 radio (I mean 2825)
    I just did this:
    -Wipe everything
    -Flash the rom
    -Flash ezOldBuildsKernel-2708_S
    -Reboot
    Voilà
    Here is the proof:

    Any G1 veterans wanna give me a hand on this one? I have 2708 on my phone, and I've been using CM6.1, but I'd like to try out this rom. But every time I flash it, I just get stuck in the splash screen.

    Flash this kernel after the rom and enjoy

    Try to flash a compatible kernel (should be this one)on top of the rom, i.e. Terry's 2708 kernel. I've done so some time ago with Enomther's Official 1.6 and it was running fine, so with this rom it should work too.

    You nailed it my wise friend, you have my thanks. I've tried the 1.3.3 version, and it's working great. Only problem is I can't do wifi at work because it's WPA2 Enterprise, and I don't know if that was invented when 1.3.3 was built. I'll try to flash 3.1.1 over this and see if it fixes it. Very fast though, so I'm pleased so far.:D

    Edit: No bien. 3.1.1 flashed, and it looks fantastic, but the wifi doesn't have the security settings it needs. I guess Donut can't do WPA2 Enterprise. :( I just did some reading online, and I guess there's a hack I could do, but it seems like a lot of work. So... Any suggestions for a ROM with good battery life and not real laggy?

    I've tried CM7, WAY to laggy, and I like CM6 pretty well, but it does get really slow on a lot of apps.

    I think is not to hard to make WPA2 Enterprise works on this...
    If you have root on your device, edit /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf and add
    whatever network you want; it will even show up in the list in the UI. This example
    works for me:

    network={
    ssid="MyEmployer"
    key_mgmt=WPA-EAP
    identity="myusername"
    password="mypassword"
    }

    If your network is more complicated (tunnels, certificates, etc), see the
    wpa_supplicant project's default configuration file, which has many examples towards
    the bottom.

    I found this app on market (WiFinder) I don't know if works for your purpose but you don't lose anything if you try it https://play.google.com/store/apps/...51bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5wZ21zb2Z0LndpZmluZGVyIl0.
